WEEK 8 RANKINGS (R = USPL rookies this season, WL = i'm sure you can figure it out)
WESTERN
1 South Georgia Growl - Went up 28-10 at the half and that proved to be enough to take home a victory.
2 5th Masterminds - Tight game against Tulsa with both teams turning it over twice. 5th did a great job running the ball and shutting down the Storms run game and managed to score the game winning TD with just under 3 minutes remaining.
3 Vancouver Lions - Proved they're the big cats in the West by demolishing the Felines.
4 Chicago Hedgehogs (WL) - Bounced back from last weeks loss big time while averaging almost 11 ypc.
5 Stormwind City Gryphons - Nursed a 3 point lead through 3 quarters but an early 4th Q score put them by 10 and was enough to hold Canton off.
6 Monmouth Evil Monkeys - After scoring first they gave up some big plays early in the game and fell behind by 18 at the half. Throw in 2 picks and it was an uphill battle MEM couldn't come back from.
7 Tulsa Storm - Fought hard against 5th but in the end they couldn't get the job done and dropped another game to a playoff team.
8 Canton Bulldogs - Defense kept it close against the Gryphons but the offense was dismal with no run support and an ineffective passing game.
9 Covington Black Knights - Another big loss and could be looking at a 3rd straight blowout next week.
10 Sin City Spoilers - Nothing sparks a turn around like playing a winless team. The next 3 will be brutal though.
11 Arkham Asylum Jokers - Back to back wins but if the Jokers want to get anywhere they need to keep this streak going another couple of weeks.
12 Michigan Mutants (R) - Nice win over the Bombers but they're about to hit a 3 game skid.
13 Bay Area Bombers
14 Inner City Fieldsmiths (R)

EASTERN
1 South Otto Fragile Porcelain Mice - Is anyone surprised to see the Mice back up top.
2 All The King's Men - Big game against a tough looking Oakland squad next week.
3 Oakland Suppressors - Huge win over the Aggies and quite possibly their best game this season. Next up is #2 ranked ATKM.
4 College Station Aggies - Fell behind early against Oakland and outside of scoring 2 TDs in the final 3 minutes this game wasn't even as close as the scoreboard suggests.
5 Las Vegas Gold Diggers - Things looked bleak after falling behind 0-13 in the 1st Q but LV went on to score the games final 47 points.
6 Denver Giant 9'ers - 3 first half TDs were just enough to get Denver the win over the Crocs thanks to the defense holding them to 5 FGs.
7 Atlantic City Affliction - Had an opportunity to step up against LV and after starting off strong they fell apart.
8 Nashville Hounds - Chalk up another win but that was a rather lackluster performance against a 1 win team.
9 Punxsutawney Groundhogs - Did they lose their steam after taking down ATKM 2 weeks ago?
10 Gulf Coast Crocs - The Crocs drop another one but I still see 6-7 favorable match-ups for them if they can get out of this funk.
11 Wala Wala Drunken Shriners - Easy win for Wala but how will they fare against the struggling Groundhogs next week.
12 "The Combine's" Tennessee Fury (R) - Came back from being down by 10 with 3 4th Q TD drives.
13 Philadelphia SEXY Demonik

PREDICTIONS
Covington vs SGG - Growl take it easily.
Spoilers vs 5th - Masterminds spoil Sin City's day.
Tulsa vs Chicago - Expecting a good game that could go either way.
Felicus vs Fieldsmiths - Could go either way.
MEM vs Mutants - Unfortunately for Mutants, MEM is back to playing solid dotball.
Bombers vs Knights - Bombers should get win #2.
Jokers vs Canton - Toss up between two 3 win teams fighting to stay alive.
Gryphons vs Lions - Really looking forward to the outcome in this one and almost made it my gotw. Lions slightly more impressive this season but Gryphons have surprised.
Wala vs Groundhogs - Both struggling but someone has to win.
Hounds vs Grace - Grace not there yet.
SEXY vs Crocs - Crocs get a break.
Mice vs Demons - Mice always on break.
ACA vs Warbirds - Not much to gamble on here.
Aggies vs Fury - Fury might need some Old #7 after this one.
Denver vs Diggers - Diggers come up big in Denver.

ATKM vs Oakland - Honestly think Men take this but I'm going out on a limb and making the GOTW my upset of the week as well.
