It's been real, but not been fun the last few seasons. Unable to find either the dots or the right coordinators who can eat, breath and sleep GLB we're just not die hard enough to have a real shot in this day and age of GLB. We'll be making the move to casual next season, but we'll miss a number of the rivalries we've built over the years.

If anyone has a proven DC who wants to see what they can do with this defense, then let them know we're looking. If they can right the ship, we'll stay otherwise we're going to explore our options. Working this hard to be .500 or worse every season just isn't fun.

Oh noes!

Don't do it!

500 in pro is much more interesting than eleventyhundred in casual! As a owner of both varieties I can assure you of this!

Well okay, we dont usually make 500 in casual tbh, but still. Casual sucks. And if you think you cant find talent NOW, lol. Dude. You have no idea.

Agreed. I had a KR/PR in casual last season and never watched a single game. Not very interesting at all.

I'd quit before playing casually.

Can't see how it's any worse than getting your brains beat in every game here...Rather be the one beating others up if we're paying to play this thing...

Casual is 99% builds. If you want to win in Casual, you will need to have the better builds. If you are not able to get good builds now, I am not sure you will find it much easier there. Basically, if you think coordinating is costing you games vs. otherwise fairly even teams, then moving to Casual may be the right choice. If it is builds, or even builds + coordinating, you may find the grass is no greener there.

We're going to schedule scrimmages against a number of them to check out how that grass tastes over there...

Ruger I can't tell you how much it helped us out just getting a decent OC on the team. Not just that the AIs are all that much better, though the differences though seeminly minor do make a difference. But it makes a difference in recruiting. I think that was the difference this season. Whatever it was, one good recruiting season can make a difference.

Though we haven't exactly been lighting it up the last couple of games, its SEEMED less futile anyway.

We've had someone volunteer to give it a shot at DC so we'll see if it makes any difference...

Cool. Stick with it.

Big league competition even if marginal is funnerer than little league dominance anyway.

Nope. I'll take blowing people out rather than getting blown out any day! It would be like me having the choice between me having the guns and shooting deer or the deer having guns and shooting at me...in the words of Charlie Sheen, I'll take "winning!"

Casual =/= Easy. It is just different. As Plankton alluded to earlier, it is less about strategy and more about build quality.
