Looks like a week-by-week ELO system. It's used in things like chess and competitive gaming; it rewards more points for beating a team that has higher points in relation to you. So it basically incorporates W-L combined with strength of schedule, though not perfectly (teams that play the CPUs early will get more points than those that play them late, for example.) Strength of victory is also not a factor.

Click the week tabs on the bottom and you'll see the points scored/lost each week.

This ^^..

Now to start the ladder all teams begin with 1000 pts. Theoretically this ladder can continue on and on for season after season. Any new teams to enter Gold every season still begin with 1000 pts and the process continues. This would solve the question of "WHO is the Best of All Time".

Is anyone amazing in excel formula/ micro writing lets work on this to make it much easier than harvesting and processing the data the long way.

think there is an error there

SHY Town beat Atlantic City Surf in week 2.

we lost 60 points, they gained 60 points.

Shy Town are 4-1 , yet only have gained 50 points from the 4-1 record.
