Tournaments used to be fun b/c they were full of new, challenging competition. Now that PeeWee has dried up, if you play tournaments, you are crushing some weak opponents by 100+ in the first round or two, and then playing the same gold teams that you face in every other tournament, during the season, and in the playoffs.
Tournaments are fun when you're a hotshot, up and coming team trying to prove yourself against the big boys. Once you get to gold, they're boring and there's not much point....you just give teams more chances to find your weaknesses and improve their own.

I agree with this, tourneys are no fun because silver's talent is so dried up right now. I mean my GTS team made it to the championship game of silver #1 with no gameplanning and just a standard user AI and no full roster with inactive players. Also, look at the decline in the entries for the silver tourney. In season 11, people lined up to play and it was hard to pick just 32, but in the past few seasons, I struggled to get 32 and this season there was so little interest that I had to shrink the tourney to 16.

Well, we got 32 teams for the Commission cup in it's first season.
We plan on opening this tournament up to all leagues next season and were running a trial run in PW this season.
You guys forget that I have been playing PW since season 8 right along beside you guys.
I respect every one of you for what you have done for me, and for PW in general.
This is something new in an attempt to possibly re-light the spark inside of some of you.
Like my boy LynyrdB said - If you ain't got nothing good to say or add, gtfo!
and the pool brackets and schedules are up in the private forum. make sure you get your games scheduled
