Best of luck! I think you are going to do just fine. One thing that has me wondering though, is why on earth are you spending all that money on a mini helmet day? Don't you plan on reaching the WL next season and stay up?

What do you mean?

Are you saying if we dont spend it this season, we can keep it and use it next season if we make WL?

I was under the assumption that any money left over in a season gets divided up hugely (into an overage account or something) so not a great deal of point holding onto money as its worth a fraction next season...

or am I well out here and thats not true, or do you mean something else?

You keep the money, yes. At least as far as I know.

having just checked the Wiki, I think I've been a tit and thought the rules that were in for when all the changes to finances got made, it was THEN and then ONLY that any money left over at the end of the season was put into an overage account.

Not for seasons thereafter. So yes I could save the cash to spend if we made WL. But then I have to be realistic and spend money to make us do well right now. We would have a lot of money saved from sitting in pros for so long otherwise

I like alpine's odds of making the WL playoffs this season more than winning 3 straight playoff games win wepl, especially with Hood Gods getting the plateau boosts a few days ago

they need a play in tourney or some shit for pro teams. It's a shame only 1 of us can go, a crying shame, Chronoaug.

Just look at the promotes this season. APL's 2 promotes are 0-20. 0-fucking 20! WEPL 4-15-1. A tie Lux? really?
