According to our sources backup QB Tom Kirkham went to the coaches office demanding more money and more playing time. The new regime coach Butler didnt take too kindly to it and let him go right there on the spot.
Kirkham drafted in the 2nd rd was thought be the best overall QB coming out of college last year but injuires have plagued his career. Kirkland will make some team a good project QB and eventually a starter!

How would he eventually become a starter? Are you talking 10 years from now when our current starters have to retire and Tom gets about a week of starter play before he retires?

I just don't see how someone who starts their career as a backup can ever get over the hump.

Well, Im noticing some QB's in the game are just terrible, so maybe teams will put thier backups in. Also, in a season or two QB's will become FA's and everyone'll be moving everywhere leaving room for a backup to grab a starting spot.

^ Obviously, he's just inventing some backstory to make it interesting. No harm there. There's no injuries in this game, of course, but that doesn't mean the storylines have to be that limited and unrealistic.

"The computer code determined Tom's little blue dot did not throw the football to his WRs little blue dots enough due to a mixture of his vision, throwing and strength; and too often to the little yellow dots of the defense."

Better? Nothing wrong with trying to be a little creative.
