Today the Maulers ownership commited their future to the people of Anchorage by announcing a new 800FP deal to secure the teams future in the city. The deal came about after a weekend of meetings with the Anchorage city authorities to thrash out a deal for the future expansion of the Maulers stadium in downtown Anchorage. The popular Alaskan franchise has made a name for itself in the USA BBB leagues as a competitive team built around careful financial management, and a strong relationship with the local community.
With this new deal it seems assured that they will continue to play a role in BBB#13 for years to come. When asked for comment, british owner TtD was keen to express his appreciation for the local community and the BBB#13 community. "This is probably the most competitive league in GLB, and it has been our greatest honour to represent the great people of Anchorage now and in the future within this fine community."
The new deal, signed this evening in the city hall, guarantees the future of the team for another two seasons with the option of a further extension open as needed. The Maulers currently sit at 5-2 in the closely fought USA BBB#13 division.
Looks like we'll be here for a while.
