I thought I knew what I was doing, but it's sort of a pivotal decision making time and I'm a little unsure of how to finish him. He's got 120 SPs left, if I'm doing my math right.

Here's some conversation starters:

1. Jumping to 73? Or 77?
2. I'm light training Strength right now, mainly because I don't have a better idea. Ideas?
3. I know I've got to get Stamina to 60ish at some point. How much farther to train it before I eventually do that with SPs?
4. Tackling. Same question. Can I feasibly get to 60 for DvG? Is it worth it?
5. 4th AEQ: MT%? SV? I'm not sure another PD% is worth it now.
6. SAs? I know to concentrate on FS and CD, plus SB...?

If you're planning on taking both to 60, you're better off training both stamina and tackling on light above the cap. Prior to that, though, you should try to train strength to 33 or so since that will be your most efficient training. As for AEQ, drop the AF piece for an MT piece (you can do this during the exchange next season), and drop the SDC piece for SV. If you run 4 pieces, make PD% your fourth piece. Take jumping to 77 if you can still get stamina and tackling to 60. If not, stop at 73. Aim for 10 SV, 60 stam/tck, 6 CD, and as much SB as you can get. If you can get the SV piece, only put as many SPs into SH as you need to get SV to 10 with EQ. Also aim for 50 strength.

What's the deal with AF% eq? I've been told by some vets that it's an absolute must-have at higher levels. Others say it's useless.

Thanks for the rest.

It's useless. Get 85 vision and 10 SV, and that's all you need.

I disagree. Even a FS with 90+ vision and 11 SV can benefit from %AF eq, in fact the higher your AF score is, the greater the % will increase it. 25% AF is fantastic, it helps against both the run and the pass. 15% AF is going to be pretty worthless though I think.

We're talking CBs not safeties.

true, but both try to avoid fakes in the same way mathematically. I would advocate only using %AF if you have huge vision/SV, but there is still quite a bit of value in it for the 85/10 build. Dropping it for %MT is still the right call here, but it is not "useless."
