I don't have any experience, but have read up on things and think I have good grip on the AI and packages I put together.

How bout a casual team? No AI but will help you get a feel for the game. Here's the team:

Not really interested in casual, but if I don't get something within the next few days, I'll get ahold of you. I do have some interest, just waiting to see if things develop or not.

I did some reading in the forums and what not and feel that I have a solid AI put together.

You have no experience yet you're going to turn down a Pee Wee team or a casual team? You stated yourself, you have no experience, you just signed up a couple days ago. Ok you've read up on AI and Packages. Reading up on them and actually working with them are two tottally different things. I've been here since the end of Season 1 and even I don't have a full grasp on it, yet you think because you've read up on it you're good enough to turn down Pee Wee teams and Casual teams? Don't even want to start from the bottom and be a scout or a recruiter?
A piece of advice for you:
Take the job with the Pee Wee team. It will give you a chance to test things out without effecting the long term of the team. This way, once you get a TRUE grasp of AI and Packages you will be able to step out of Pee Wee with a firm understanding. Once that happens, start with a rookie team and work up the ladder with them.
Hell I will purchase another Pee Wee team for you to work the AI. I'll find a CPU team in a league of CPU teams and let you test it out with CPU players.

Thanks for your two cents, Seric. I will be alright and nobody mentioned anything about being "too good" for Pee Wee or Casual teams, I just don't have an interest in either. For one, there really isn't any AI used with Casual teams, so what's to gain there? I don't quite understand why owners of casual teams need help setting up their offense and defense, plug in the numbers and go. As for the Pee Wee teams, I'm not going to develop an AI for a team and then have that team reset the following season. If I'm going to create an AI focused on the strengths of a team, I'd prefer that team to be around for more than 40 days.
I really don't think inserting inputs and outputs is too difficult. I'm sure I'll run into a bump or two along the way, but I'm fairly confident I'll be alright, I may never become one of the best OC's in the game, but I certainly won't be amongst the worst either.
Builderbob has offered some insight, but really hasn't had much impact on the AI I'll be running for the NW Portland Ducks. Game time tomorrow, I'm interested in seeing how it goes.
