Warrior General Games

Every season, the OPL teams try to play 2 leagues in a challenge. Rules are simple.

Each league gets as many teams to sign up to play one ranked scrim game. After the 8th game or so, each league ranks their teams top to bottom, and then matched teams play one game against each other. #1 plays #1, etc.

Each game counts the same, top to bottom, so even the 20th ranked teams have a game that counts for the league.

League with the most wins.....wins. Tiebreaker for an even number of teams is total point differential.

OPL is playing SLAP again (Magellan Cup) but is looking to play CPL if you guys are interested, can get enough teams interested, and have someone on this side that can organize it.

Eastern Conference is in.

As CPL's spokesperson let me tell you to gtfo.

Last season, someone tried (evileyez) but less than a dozen CPL teams stepped up, so we went to other leagues. If you don't think the CPL guys are up to it, then we will go to another league again.

conditions under which i will give my blessings:

1) WL representers from each region should be included in the competition. Just matching up the second rate teams from different regions is silly.
2) There should be a weighting system that puts more emphasis on the higher ranked games than the lower ranked games.

btw, failure to agree to these conditions is essentially admitting that CPL is way better than your league (which everyone knows anyway, so whatevs)

These are Pro league vs Pro league. And the decision to include equal weighting top to bottom is to make sure every team is represented. This should be important equally to every team. Always have been and always will be.

I take the lack of interest as CPL (not CPL teams in the WL, but CPL) pussying out two seasons in a row.

i'm going to try to get some league challenge with a league that isn't scared of playing an /entire/ region. lol
