Do any of you change the favorite target? was wondering how it affected the game, pros and cons

I've tried it in pre-season games before and haven't noticed much of a difference. The favorite target may get a first read but your QB still checks down like he would normally. Admittedly I just tried it a few games and that is a small sample to go on.
In my opinion, it is better to leave it off in case you miss an open man because of it.
