First, let me introduce myself. My name is Jack Riley, I'm a former team owner, I owned the Williamsport Soul Reavers from Seasons 5 - 11. I've recruited for multiple teams, to include the Sumatra Seahawks, Prague Panthers, Thunder Bay Sabertooths, Sin City Rabid Squirrels, Reach Spartans, New Jersey Nighthawks, (some current, some previous) and a few others.
Recruiting is what I do. But I do have requirements of team owners as a recruiter. First of all, I'm looking for a team with an experienced staff, that is capable of competing and moving up the ladder each season. I'm not going to lie, I don't want to recruit for a team that ...just isn't that good and has no hope of getting better. It's not because I think that highly of myself it's because I want to be a part of a team that is going somewhere.
I DO NOT Want to recruit for a team that is lower than Regional Pro and I WILL NOT recruit for Casual teams. I'm not a fan of Casual teams, I like the competition of regular teams and that is where I'm comfortable.
If I know you that is a plus. I am not even remotely interested in 'stealth recruiting' aka recruiting as an invisible lolgm. If you can't give me a recruiter tag and display me as a apart of the team, don't bother pming me.
Communication. That is the #1 key to success in GLB imo. If you want me as your recruiter, you have to be able to communicate with me. You have to let me know your build types, positions, etc. Give me something to recruit, you can't just say, go get players, if I don't even know what you need. Communicate with me or this just won't work out.
Activity: Don't bother pming me if the only time someone posts on your forum is when God himself comes down and types a few letters on his privately stashed PC. C'mon you think God isn't using the internet? Who ISN'T nowadays? lol.
Seriously, if you're interested, contact me, tell me why you want me to recruit for you. Don't be afraid to send me a light hearted pm, showing personality ain't a bad thing.
