I'm going to be building a Pocket Passing QB for my first QB build tomorrow and I had a couple of question.

First off what is the best way to avoid sacks whiten the pocket. Is Strength or Agility more important for this?

Secondly it seems that the Deep Passer archetype has a better overall lay out to make a pocket passer. I'm not sure if I'm off base in this though.

I want to make an extremely accurate, quick reading QB who doesn't go down easy, but isn't necessarily a guy who's going to run for the yards. I'm thinking of maxing Throwing, Vision, Agility (or strength), then the other, Conference.

Am I on the right track here or am I way off base?

Strength won't help, agility will a little (but your QB is never going to be more agile or faster than any defender), basically sacks come down to the quality of your O-line and your individual tactics (if you select favor long passes, and throw away aggressive see if you can guess what may occur a lot ).

It depends if you favor a high strength (90+) QB or not for deep passing (people are torn about how much you need, and how little you can get away with), personally I like Pocket Passer archetype QB's that still have decent Strength (80+). But either archetype is fine.

Accuracy = Vision+Throwing+Strength+2 Pass Quality % Pieces.

Regardless of which archetype you choose you will never need to put SP's to agility (just include it in multi-training), Strength should be your 3rd attribute for a pocket passer (behind Throwing and Vision), or your 4th for a Pocket Passer (behind Throwing, Vision, Confidence).

Don't worry about trying to break tackles (you won't), just worry about making the best passer you possibly can.
