Aight so we got the conference semis now, we out...


Due to 3 "upsets" in the western conference, it leaves the 1 seeded bears as the lone high seed left, and they go into this week as one of the favorites to win the title. The cascade goats are back...and it isn't very fun for the rest of us. Gruppo has shaken off his rust and now the Goats are on a 7 game winning streak, including the 1st round 56 point obliteration of the pain nation midgets. The former champs will go into the second week of playoffs as the favorites to win the conference. Then we have the crib midgets and ACS...both teams have been under the radar all season long and will look to play spoiler tomorrow. ACS is back to the way it was playing when deertagg ran the team and Crib continues to be consistent.

Chicago 85' Bears vs Crib Midgets

The bears are clearly on upset alert here, as the Midgets have been playing stellar ball for a while now. The have a great defense that had an off week against the bengals. The bears have inarguably the best defense in gold this season, and the defending conference champs will look to make another title run. Bevo05 has been to two straight finals...

Cascade Surly Goats vs Atlantic City Surf

The surf have been playing well lately, they are on a 7 game winning streak as well...unfortunately, they get to face another red hot team in the cascade goats. The goats had the most impressive run in the history of gold in S17 when they blew out every team in the postseason, I believe that they will continue to roll as the make ACS into goat milk tomorrow.

In the eastern conference it is wide open to anybody who wants, we have all 4 of the top seed advancing to the semi finals. Ogopogo stole the 1 seed in the last week of the season and backed it up well with a 1st round thrashing of SAS chicken stranglers. They will take on the consistent Short Bus WIndow Lickers. The window lickers are on a 7 game winning streak, and it took some magic to get them into the conference semis with a comeback after being down by 24 points. The window lickers have a 3 level advantage over the monsters. In the next game, we have imo the game of the week, between the two time defending champs and the hottest team in gold. The Maine Grenadiers have returned...again, smoking the Shy town bears by 73 points in the first round. The Gamecocks are battle tested in the playoffs after a tight 17 point win in the first round.


Ogopogo Lake Monsters vs Short Bus Window Lickers

The monsters were the best team in the conference this season, led by a virtually impenetrable defense. The Window Lickers manage to outscore teams and hold them in check with the 7th ranked defense and 9th ranked offense in gold, they have been to two consecutive conference championships. The main difference is they have 3 levels on the monsters.

Maine Grenadiers vs Fighting Gamecocks

This is going to be an amazing game, going down to the wire. These are the two best built teams in gold, both amassing an unbelievable amount of hurries and sacks, and Maine has been the king of interceptions since S20. It is going to be a blood bath, but I think that I got this one right.
