My suggestion is to allow team owners to suspend their ownership.

Some agents get a little burnt out and want to take a break. This is true for owners also. I think owners should be able to suspend their ownership of teams. This way they do not loose the history of the team.

Right now if i sold my team and then in 3 seasons want to buy a team, it will be a new team to me. By allowing me to suspend it, i can start my club back up and still have all the team stats, trophies, and forum.

The team suspended should still counts as a team owned.

Right now if i got burnt out and wanted to keep my team i would have to pay 400 flex for a team filled with CPU's or random agents. I think this is a little high and should only be charged 100 to 200 flex a season for the suspended team. This might help eliminating the amount of CPU Teams.

EDIT: Maybe a 1 time fee instead of a season to season that has to be paid every time the team is suspended

Would the team basically go into stasis? Like, no roster, no games, you just pay to keep the name?

Yes, you get to keep the stats, trophies and forum. When you reactivate it you get it on Day 41 so you can get reassigned to a league.

Just buy a new team and give it the same name.

Yes, you get to keep the stats, trophies and forum. When you reactivate it you get it on Day 41 so you can get reassigned to a league.

coincidentally, I just transferred my team to a buddy/GM for him to babysit it for me for a season or so, after burnout got me in it's clutches

I bought a team this season only to find out my old team was gone and all the team info and forum was gone also.
Planned on buying back my other team but didn't for that simple fact.
