So tempted.
That was incredibly aggravating.
Okay our offense sucks. We keep running plays that aren't working, and there aren't any plays that ARE working for whatever reason. And we went for it on 4th and FG range because the score was large, and missed another FG so we got blanked. But Im not the OC so thats not as frustrating as it might be.
So I am not surprised we lost the game. Didn't really expect to win it going in.
And yes I miscrafted a few plays that were supposed to cover screens so that they did in fact not do that very reliably. So I am not surprised the other guys scored some.
And yet I did get them to punt 12 times, which was more than Banzai had to punt in their last 3 games combined and was well above any other game of theirs this season other than Asau 16 times). He also had to end 7 drives with a FG instead of a TD, which is the most Banzai has attempted all regular season.
So I was pleased with the D over all. They only gave up 27 points not gained by turn overs or garbage time turnovers on downs.
And yes when we got behind we wound up going for it on 4th which gave up maybe 17 garbage points. So I can't blame anyone but me for that.
But what I has me really really frakking ticked off is
SIX fumbles by my Return man.
The guy has an adjusted carrying on a return over 92, effective strength is not huge but hes a return guy - its over 55. He has 30% bonus to holding on to the ball, and a skosh of cover up even.
An he drops the rock six times. Gives up 9 points.
Infuriating. WTF.
NFL record for drops is 7.
