Uh you can look at this guy and improve on him: http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=1330915

Spent 3 seasons in dat WL. Definitely could be improved and he wasn't the best ut he was fucking good at his job.
Best is probably one of taut's LDE's but he isn't going to open up those builds anytime soon.

Mine might be good but I gotta wait to see how he does in WL 1st to measure his success against top competition. I can't open his build yet but will when I retire.

Since Homage is always so cool about things I'll open up Dr April Mucosa for a bit:
http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=1309796

She's built much differently from most LDEs as you can see...there are lots of ways to be successful at DE.

In seasons 19-21 in the WL she had:

15 hurries 15 sacks 2 PDs 43 tackles 11 TFL

12 hurries 13 sacks 1 PDs 41 tackles 1 TFL

18 hurries 15 sacks 0 PDs 38 tackles 4 TFL

She's losing a step this season from decline, and I suspect the loss of Streaky hurts her quite a bit.

I wish she had some Wall, but I've been pretty happy with her. She is very productive both as a pass rusher and a run stopper (she led all World League LDEs in sacks for 3 seasons straight, and I think she led in tackles as well).

Ineresting... no Heavyweight VA.
Why is that?
BTW Both you and Homage have very solid builds... kindof humblingto see these and compare it to my own LDE who is almost in plateau and just plain not as good. Props to both of ya'll.

If you are a high strength type and you are on power rushing technique, then you are locked into Heavy Weight. You just won't do a whole lot without it. But if you have a more balanced or speed/agi build and use evasive rushing then you at least have a choice...you can actually get around a blocker after breaking the block.

I went away from it for two reasons:

1) Lower weight defenders actually don't use it as effectively as higher weight defenders.
2) It's nice to try buck the trend from time to time

It still might be a better choice than what I have, but it's at least not a slam dunk.
