I have vision at 35 and under defensive focus I put it at run bonus but I still did this on at least five plays.

Why in the world would he drop in pass coverage on running plays when I have him set to play the run? Seems like he should play the run first when you set him that way.

My man coverage option was set to close. Could this be the cause of his poor judgement?

Just when I start to think I know what I'm doing and how to build my player, he plays like garbage.

Yea, I had that same problem into my DC and I talked some stuff out to get not only myself, but our team more into of a run first mode. I don't know what he did, but I'm now playing a lot better.

Is your Agility above 20? I was wondering if your LB was moving to cover the WR or if he just couldn't change his direction of movement quickly.

I thought that as long as your vision was high enough, you could go and tackle the ball carrier even if the defensive play has you covering someone. It looks like I am a slave to whatever the defensive call is for the play even if I have bonus run set in advanced tactics.

It looks like you were playing zone and your LB went to cover the TE and kind kinda juked as the TE went to run block.
