I had an elite FS before I got banned for having 10 accounts.
This build is for a man coverage FS
You need to first train speed to 78. Second most important attribute is vision, must have very high vision.
Third important is agility, then tackling, jumping, strength, catching (the last 3 can be left at the first or second cap)

Strength can be trained a little earlier, but you're not really looking to force fumbles, you want two things: One, since a FS is the last line of defense, you want the sure tackle. Set to Wrap up, jumping helps with diving tackles, and get the VA sure tackler (or w/e its called, the one that gives you the chance for a re-roll). Two, you want INTs. What gets you ints is super high speed, vision, and agility. Then after that jumping helps a lot, and catching (in the past catching could be left at the first cap. I used to have a lvl 45 CB that averaged around 10 to 15 ints per season, and he ended up with 55 catching. but nowadays, it's probably needed a little more)

I've always found that a good DC is the #1 difference in whether a FS is elite or pedestrian. Assuming you have a decent build of course. A large majority of DCs tend to just leave the FS back deep as the vanilla, stereotypical, frustrating "last line of defense."

If you're shopping for a home, be wary of anyone mentioning that phrase..

It depends on how you're building him, but an elite FS should have top shelf speed and vision regardless of style, and then either you line him up, blitz the hell out of him, or you can be used as a dangerous double cover threat to pick six. I've had both. The latter is more enjoyable, but the former is the easiest path to MVPs. I'm 3 for 3 on MVPs with an otherwise unremarkable FS, simply because of ungodly sack totals and the occasional interception.
