The Scorpions refuse to throw the towel in yet, despite their young roster, and have actually impressed during this three game skid. Anyway, up next is a bye week before the #1 seed in Alpha is decided.

3 - Indianapolis Gurupies (8-0) - Well, Tampa proved why I refuse to let them sniff the top 10 as Indy rolled over them with ease this week. Up next is a very strong Black Death team that has been flying under the radar since botching thier AI against Banzai and losing a close one to the Voodoo.

4 - Banzai Pipeline 'Nites (7-1) - Nothing to see here with Banzai coming off a bye. They should have an easy time again this week against a struggling Miracle team.

5 - Syracuse Synergy (7-1) - Nice win for the Synergy as the snatched the hope from the Ducks with a late 4th quarter pick six. Up next is a bye week.

6 - Stockholm Black Death (6-2) - Big game for SBD coming off the break in their schedule. This should be a good measuring stick as to how they stack up with the other top teams in Alpha. That said, I think Indy continues to cruise here... more a testament to the fact that there is a reason Indy was in the WL for so long.

7 - Kingston Uprising (5-3) - Nothing to see here either. Should be an easy win this week but they better not take it off as SDS is hell bent on playing the spoiler.

I know they have beaten two teams ahead of them but again this is a power ranking and more of a what have you done for me lately... just cant turn a blind eye to this loss.
