I have the choice between 5% of either in the store right now. already built a shutdown coverage piece. here's what my final build should look like:

High tackling is so I can get DvG VA

intercept 100%

Make tackle is a good piece though.....just would rather have bonus to INTs for a SD CB.

depends on the sim when build is complete. If it was like a few seasons ago prefer the intercept piece but if it's nerfed as the past season or 2 have been would prefer the make tackle.

also if you can... I'd try and get stamina to 60+

+1 My int piece doesn't help at all now. 21% of 0 is still 0

As a DC I would definitely want MT% gear over INT% gear.

INTs are gravy. Missed tackles kill you. And more teams are going with multiple spin/break-tackle receivers that can turn 5 yard routes into 25 yard gains.

Both are good. If you really want to play it safe-go MT%.

make tackle. personally, i wouldnt touch INT% unless you have 60+ catching.
