rocklee711 asked if I'd do these for the West before last season started and I finally got around to doing them for Season 21 back on Day 47 of Season 20.

There's been some roster movement over the past 8 days since I last did these and it'll change up the position of a few teams. I'll also list the Day 1 chemistry, roster size, and effective level of each team.

Playoff Teams w/first-round home games... _______________________________________________

1) Queensland Exiles • (72/93/81 • 55 • 1,097.65) • Until some other team proves otherwise, they're the #1 team in the West. They finished the regular season 16-0, but an inexplicable second round playoff upset has them back in Canada Pro as the top contenders from the West. With a full, rebuilt roster and chemistry on the mend, look out for the Exiles again in Season 21.

2) Get Off Our LAWN!!! • (58/77/75 • 55 • 1,114.77) • Look out. They were a little over-matched last season with some dots too deep into decline, but with this season's roster full of first-year declining dots...they should be contenders. They'll face an uphill battle early because of their poor chemistry, but Queensland, Montreal, and St. John's are all on the back-end of their schedule. This will be a team nobody else wants to face in the playoffs.

3) Montreal Rulers • (77/95/92 • 55 • 1,085.87) • This team lost two games last season...a regular season contest to the aforementioned Exiles and a playoff game to the Longhorns. With rocklee711 and ep3388 running the show, this team is limited only by the effort they're able to put into it...especially with the Queen City Black Cats back in the World League and occupying their time.

4) MIAMI ROADFROGS • (73/92/87 • 55 • 1,130.93) • Last season they finished 8-8, good enough only for 9th place and an outside view of the playoffs. How'd they respond? By bringing in some veteran dots hungry for a trophy. Their chemistry suffered for it, but it's no worse than many of their counterparts. Without just a single dot under 439 days old, this team isn't built to look forward...they want to win now!

Playoff Teams w/first-round away games... _______________________________________________

5) Fighting Big Dookies • (100/100/100 • 55 • 1,037.67) • Like the Montreal Rulers up in third place, this is another of EP & Rock's teams. A very good group of younger dots, but perhaps under-leveled dots, I certainly don't see them contending for a CPL Championship this season. That said, they could easily sneak up and steal a few wins against even the "big boys" in the conference.

6) St. John's Salty Dogs • (68/80/92 • 54 • 1,133.72) • In the last set of rankings they had 47 players. They've added some talented dots to fill up the roster, but chemistry took a big hit in the process. Will they put forth the effort to sustain their past successes this season?

7) Arnprior Muskrats • (99/99/100 • 55 • 1,052.37) • A return to CPL for the Muskrat Nation! They've been here before with Cobden, so they certainly know the lay of the land. This is another young team that will have to gameplan well to make noise in the post-season.

8) Detroit Pyromaniacs • (74/91/98 • 54 • 1,059.71) • Wound up in 6th place in CPL West last season with a 9-7 record. Like the Salty Dogs they went from having just 48 dots to 54 since the last look at their team. But for the hit their chemistry took, it may have been enough to vault the Muskrats in the standings.

Non-Playoff Teams, the outside looking in... _______________________________________________

9) Saskatchewan Roughriders • (96/100/100 • 55 • 994.61) • This is another fairly young team...but with a complete roster. They won't be contenders this season, but still have a lot of growing up to do and could easily make some noise once they have another season under their belts.

10) Jetnation Dream Team • (100/100/100 • 55 • 943.17) • These guys are young, but have been together for a while. They'll be in the bottom half of the conference with an outside shot at the playoffs this season. If they stick together they could easily make some noise over the next few seasons.

11) Houston Vikings • (44/77/71 • 55 • 1,065.81) • They've been around CPL West for quite a few seasons now, but it's been several long seasons since they've put together a winner. Their chemistry is in the tank as they've tried to rebuild...but they've still got a long way to go.

12) Rancho Cucamonga Quakes • (100/100/100 • 45 • 1,121.20) • They have only 45 players and none younger than 475 days old. Any effort to fill out the roster at this point would kill the only thing they've got going for them...good chemistry.

Non-Playoff Teams, looking to avoid demotion... _______________________________________________

13) Quebec War Eagles • (73/97/88 • 50 • 1,064.33)
14) Beantown Bastards • (97/100/100 • 42 • 1,078.21)
15) Philadelphia Philanthropists • (74/81/95 • 50 • 951.68)
16) Edmonton Apaches • (95/100/99 • 44 • 1,019.82)

worth the wait. thanks man! Pretty much agree with the top 4 but having your team at 6 is sandbaggin However i'm not sure which of the 4 you'd drop out either. If preseason is any indication, it will be a long season for Queensland
