I was toying around with the rotation thing, takes a boat load of flex (read cash) to get a player up to Pro level (if buying at best prices the 429500 flex will cost you about $2,000, up to $3,000 if bought at lesser discounts for the entire 55 man roster, varying somewhat on how you fill in those extra slots, this price is based on one QB and then all extras being 100 point STOP players. Teams with a second QB or more WRs or CBs etc would be pricier ). So it makes sense to try and keep them here as long as possible to get your moneys worth. So rather than having them be on the team just for their 400-440 and 440-560 pre-plateau and pre-prime seasons where they would be 72-75 levels, I was thinking that keeping them two seasons post prime and one season earlier would be more cost effective, getting 7 instead of 4 pro seasons out of them. Team with decline players may not be a championship team but should compete. Its the team of 67 levels leveling to 72 over the season that I wonder about.

Would they be so weak as to cost the team its Pro Slot?

You could stagger it, of course, and have a seventh 67s, seventh two seasons in decline, seventh one season in decline, a seventh of 72s and, 3/7ths at plateau. But then you lose those three to four solid championship bound seasons.

2nd season decline would be rough. 1st season decline should not be too bad, and there are plenty of teams not quite at 72 that compete well. Oregon was top 4 in Zeta (granted, it was just Zeta, but still) with a roster full of guys 400 - 440 days old. The reality is that Pro leagues are fairly watered down, so if your 69s are well built, have solid AE, and you have a good gameplan, you can do just fine.

If you get demoted from Pro with a team full of 67s then you should just play for fun in the minors.

go for it!

I donīt know exactly how the roster looked like, but Dallas Longhorns won their conference in lolCPL with a roster of mostly lvl 67 dots (at the end of the season), for what itīs worth.
You shouldnīt worry to start the season with lvl 67, you donīt suck that bad

If they are well-built with a team philosophy that works, you can definitely win OPL with 67s.
