We're starting a heavy passing team. I am building a power back who is being designed to be used to carry the ball only in short yardage situations, so he doesn't need break away speed. To get him enough plays, I also want to make him a pass blocking specialist since our other two backs are scat backs. We'd use him on some pass plays where we aren't sending the HB out as a receiver. I've never seen this build before and I've never made anything like it. I'm guessing agility and visibility are the keys for pass blocking, but I have no idea how to train this sucker. Any ideas?

Let me know if you come up with anything. I'm attempting to build a power-scat-blocking HB this season.
Probably a waste of money on a 300 flex dot, but having a HB that can block would be nice. Not sure if it's possible to do without completely gimping his offensive ability though.

I don't want to completely gimp it, but if he can get a yard or two of tough yardage, that's all I'm asking him to do carrying the ball. He'll never be needed to catch.
