Chicago Dire Wolves vs. Charlotte Clamjousters 10-16

While ties are possible in games, usually one team wins. This was one of those games where two terrible teams go into it. Neither really deserved a win but one of them had to get it. In the end Charlotte's crappy run game over matched Chicago's mediocre pass attack. The teams managed to hold onto the ball surprisingly well and there were only three turnovers. I'd say while these are middle to bottom of the pack teams they should still be able to run over exposed teams like the Carniceros.

Nashville Dores vs. Palmyra Cougars 6-41

The worst team in the east squared off against a terrible team. However, the Dores are just too crappy to win a game ever. They've been giving up over 300 yards per game ON THE GROUND and the Cougars had no trouble running for 161.5 yards. The cougars also racked up a lot of yards against Nashville's "finest" but you'd have to wonder if these cougars are going to be able to tame more mature men.

Miami Carniceros vs. Ho Playbook 6-27

This was a game where the contenders were separated from the pretenders. The Miami Carcinceros were exposed as a paper tiger team and you have to wonder whats in store for them against future opponents now that everyone knows they can't play defense. Ho Playbook obliterated this team and the carniceros appear unlikely to ever recover. Without a lot of help from officiating Miami could be in serious trouble.

Cleveland Steamer vs. Albany Mammoths 23-3

The Steamers delivered a massive turd onto downtown Albany. Albany's terrible QB lead the unsanitary reception with 4 interceptions and a 3.1 Y/A. Neither team showed any ability to run the ball but whats new? We aren't talking about top of the line teams when we start looking at ohio are we?

Indianapolis Gangsters vs. Tampa Elite 68-0

The Tampa Elite went into the game 0-5 while the Indianapolis Gangsters went in 5-0. The inevitable happened: more stat padding for the Gangsters players. While exposed as a team with significant and perhaps fatal flaws last week, the gangsters remain the only undefeated team in the east.

New York Doom vs. St. Louis Beer Barons 12-13

The second mediocre 5-0 team to become 5-1 this week was the New York Doom. Much like the Miami Carniceros they were exposed as an overrated and under prepared paper tiger and you have to wonder what's in store for them. They appear to be on the edge of a massive precipice and their grip is weakening. Sloppy play lead the Doom to three fumbles and two interceptions. If they want to be anything more than an average group they're going to have to improve their ball control.

Pittsburgh Irons vs. Miami Sharks 0-40

Somehow the Pittsburgh Iron have picked up a win this year. Nobody knows how. Nobody knows when. And with today's game nobody wonders why nobody knows. They managed 76 yards of offense over the whole game which is about the yardage you need for 1 touchdown drive. Maybe someday they'll get that touchdown.

Montpelier Morticians vs. Radio City Irrelevants 12-22

The Radio City Irrelevants became relevant today. While they'll still get run over by upper echelon teams like the HO Playbook, they've definitely established themselves as a dark horse contender. This is in large part due to their low # of turnovers. Their run game remained excellent and they should have no trouble crushing some of the overrated teams like the NY Doom.

Interesting Theory. Last time I checked... talking shit you can't back up doesn't have a scouting bar.

Hey,

I just report the facts. I'm doing the league a service by reporting the news.

Could I get an interview with one of you guys about your one point victory over the 1-5 Palmyra Cougars sometime? I hear that one was a real nail biter.

Sure. Three comments for that interview.

"A Win is a win is a win."

"6-0."

"Indy 27 - Playbook 20."

Jealousy. It's a bitch, isn't it?

Someone on Palmyra said "mean regression is a bitch"

do you know what he might have meant?

I don't know why you're getting all angry at them tho. I guess I would have had to be there to understand what went on between you and Palmyra.

No, not a clue... Go ask your teammates, take a poll, then let me know what they say. That'd be about the best sample pool I could think of.

Congrats on your win over Miami, though... a couple more of those, and people might actually begin to take you guys seriously.

wow. I try reporting the news and some people can't handle it. Listen, if you don't want to face reality don't read my threads because I report it straight up without spin.

Oh, I forgot. You're absolutely right. To be in the elite teams, it is actually required for you to be 4-2 and 8th in the conference. I totally forgot about that. How could I have ever been so foolish?

Well you probably just aren't a very deliberate or careful person. A lot of people don't think about strength of schedule through week x of the season.

This website's not serious business so it's fine being impulsive and hasty. I wouldn't worry about your mistake if I were you.

Good. Because i wasn't going to either way. But if you are so amazing of a team, then I would assume SoS to be a nonfactor. After all, a team as mighty as the gods themselves should rarely be challenged when playing against the mere mortals.

Your review for the DOOM vs Beer Barons game is a little harsh. We have been having some offensive struggles, but in the game we had more yards than the Barons and the # of turnovers was equal on both sides. Noticing you are a part of Ho Playbook, we'll be especially excited to doominate you in our next game.

Wow! Preety harsh words there about the Doom.My hat goes off to the Barons, they executed a great gameplan and came out on top. Good job guys.

But to say we are a mediocre 5-0 team, and over-rated is way off base. But you are entitled to your opinion. We will see how things pan out in the next few games. But once again, Barons...Great job. Glad I have the DOOM koolaid to wash down that tasty crow lol
