Week 14 Predictions
Usual disclaimer: this is my opinion only. If you don’t like it, I still love you.
Welcome to TV show week. Some of the better TV shows in broadcast history.
Naga
Game Of The Week
Palembang Drunken Monks (13-0) v Semarang Red Bulls (12-1)
Whoa Nellie, this one is for all the Naga marbles, at least in lolregularseason. The winner of this game is virtually guaranteed the number one seed, while the loser most likely gets to play fool and co in the second round. While there are a lot of agents in common between these guys, expect this game to require a MASH http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q7xsh7DcFcc unit to sort things out at the end. Monks 38, Semarang 35
Other Games
Victoria Teabaggers (11-2) v Woody Island Wolverines (10-3)
Another excellent Naga matchup this week. At stake is a likely first round home game to the winner, a spot it looked like WW would not reach earlier in the season, but they once again are finishing strong. Can they go all Dexter http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ej8-Rqo-VT4 on VT and steal that home game? VT 28, WW 24
Krungthep Garudas (11-2) v Royal Blue Drunken Smurfs of Funkalicious Labatt (4-9)
The Smurfs surprised WW last week with the strength of their play, but still fell short in the end. Krungthep on the other hand is known to put their boot on a weaker team’s throat, even after they pass out. The Blue would have to be Mad Men http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WcRr-Fb5xQo to think they win this one tbh. Krungthep 56, Blue 17
Hong Kong Hustlers (8-5) v Benton Harbor Havoc (7-6)
This is a fairly critical game for BHH with a PDP team that beat them nipping at their heels in the 9 spot. It’s not strictly a must win, but it’s close. While HKH is certainly not putting up the numbers they used to, BHH will still have to pull together as a Band of Brothers http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QjQWBzGRCKU to pull this one out. HKH 42, BHH 28
Sainte Foy Cyclones (7-6) v Portland Dirty Penguins (6-7)
This game is huge for both teams. At one point it looked like there was no way SFC could miss the playoffs and no way PDP could make it. Both of those things have changed, although there is a pretty good shot both teams make it and BHH is left out in the cold. You know that each team would like to leave the other Six Feet Under http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GD7nRBWeVgM&feature=fvst and ensure their own success. PDP 27, SFC 24
Golden Hill Bones (5-8) v Dayton Raiders (0-13)
GHB is not yet technically eliminated, but they would have to both win out and get some help along the way to make the big dance. It doesn’t exactly to take Magnum PI http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=64GyuozXtnQ to figure out that is fairly unlikely though. GHB 65, Dayton 3
The Outlaw Hustlers (5-8) v Orlando Praying Mantis (4-9)
TOH is another team that is not yet technically eliminated, but their scenario is even more bleak than the one for GHB as they still have Semarang on the schedule. I don’t think even the Dukes of Hazzard http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zRX4mlFi06A could jump them over the ditch between them and the playoffs. TOH 30, OPM 27
Dayton Blackhawks (1-12) v Tibetan Drunk Monks (1-12)
Barring some sort of the strangeness, the winner of this game stays in SEA and the loser goes back to regionals, so in that sense it’s an important game. Either way, the loser is likely Lost http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t5qP32YiPcs to us. Dayton 24, Tibetan 21

lolgaruda
Game of the Week
New York Empire (11-2) v Krakow Kryptonite (9-4)
NYE lost their grip on the sole possession of first place last week, but they’re still in that lead peleton. KK would like to chase down someone in that lead pack like a pesky Firefly http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LrAS20mNZUE but it’s unlikely they do so even if they win this week with a two game gulf. Still, this will probably be lolgaruda’s most entertaining game of this week. NYE 34, KK 27
Other Games
Wu Dang Kung Fu Academy (11-2) v Atlantic Great Whites (4-9)
No disrespect intended to AGW, but Wu is virtually guaranteed of a 14-2 regular season at this point and is just looking to see how the tie-breakers fall in the end. Their Kung Fu http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RRfmUkixEEs has definitely been strong this season and I’m looking forward to seeing the playoffs unfold. Wu 49, AGW 17
Phu Khao Bow Chicka Brown Cows (11-2) v Halifax Harpoons (7-6)
Halifax is probably not real happy to see the Cows on the schedule this week as they’re trying to stave off the Knights for the 8 spot. Unless they somehow get another game’s cushion, next week’s showdown with the Knights is to see who makes the big dance. If they come up short in the end they may need to call Frasier http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7BUH3Gd9qAA for some psychotherapy. Cows 45, Halifax 20
Buffalo Rampage (11-2) v Awendaw Toadfish (2-11)
Buffalo did everyone a favor last week not named NYE when they made a mess of the standings. Awendaw meanwhile is searching for a win so that their return to SEA is not extremely short-lived. Unfortunately for AT, I kinda see Buffalo going Spartacus http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VW8XW4AGgnM on them here. Buffalo 65, AT 9
Boston Bears (9-4) v CPU2
Well, it looks like the Crew has thrown in the towel permanently. Boston is on their way to double digit wins and it’s perfectly legal. Boston Legal http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wVXNZRwmYf0 even. Boston 255, CPU2 0
Mandalay King Cobras (8-5) v Tanzania Lumberjacks (6-7)
TL is still alive for that 8 spot, but MKC would love to plunge in that final dagger if they can. As well as MKC has been playing, I gauge that as likely. They have left a lot of opponents this season with a Rawhide http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MSHr4ubuD64 at the end of the game. MKC 35, TL 20
Buffalo Knights (6-7) v Praha Velvet Revolution (1-12)
Buffalo is eying Halifax in hungry fashion and looks to pull even this week for a big showdown next week. PVR is likely on their way out of SEA, but they’ll probably be back stronger in a couple of seasons when they make a Prison Break http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZWyrsCYVbHs out of regionals. Buffalo 56, PVR 6
Island of Misfit Toys (2-11) v CPU
IMT looks to put a little cushion between themselves and Awendaw for SEA preservation. Much like the A-Team http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wyz_2DEah4o they probably love it when a plan comes together. IMT 220, CPU 0
Usual disclaimer: this is my opinion only. If you don’t like it, I still love you.
