Midseason point has come so teams are starting to separate themselves a bit as the playoff push continues.

1. QCBC - still undefeated but definitely had a couple battles vs Raging Alcoholics and the Matadors..... hard fought games for sure to keep them battle tested. Only test in the next 4 is Thunder Bay.

2. Algoma Arena Rockers - this squad is making me look good for thinking they're pretty good in the preseason, undefeated so far in their first season is nice. Don't see them being tested until game 10 vs the Matadors Squeaked one out vs Raging but they've been cruising thus far.

3 Manitoba Matadors - I'm going to give these guys the nod for how tough they played QC...... would've made the old guard Matadors proud for how they played in this once epic rivalry. Got a couple rough back to back games though vs Niagara/Algoma so we'll see if they can still keep the inside track on a home playoff game.

4. Niagara Maulers - dropped a bit after the big loss to the Alcoholics but also because of some not so pretty games against what I consider lesser competition. Squad may be in cruise control mode until the playoffs but they do need to take care of business vs Manitoba/Thunder Bay to secure a home playoff game.

5. Thunder Bay Wolverines - flying a bit under the radar but tight game vs Manitoba shows they can compete and will be in it for a home playoff game. A solid test vs Yorkshire and then a back to back of QC/Niagara will give a better picture of where this team stands and their seeding.

6. Raging Alcoholics - got through a brutal stretch of games with QC, Niagara and Algoma...... played QC solid, big win over Niagara and played a hard fought game with Algoma shows me that they'll be in the playoff run and could be a dangerous lower seed.... don't see the top squads giving up home field. With the tough part of their schedule behind them..... very conceivable they could win the rest of their regular season games.

7. Yorkshire Rippers - one of the new teams that has begun to emerge and should vie for a playoff spot. Won 5 straight and beat really everyone they should and needed to beat to stay in the playoff hunt. The Thunder Bay game will give a good indication of where this team is among the better CPL squads and they also have a trap game vs Siberian.

8. BSoDF - almost took down Niagara which was surprising they have a tough one vs Algoma but then have 3 they could realistically win and stay in the playoff chase. Even with 0cares they got some awesome dots.

- Outside Looking In -

9. Thunder Bay Sabertooths - will be interested to see how this team finishes on the back half of the schedule, got a couple tough games, if they can go at least 2-2 the next 4 games they'll have a shot down the stretch. Still growing as a team and should get better as the season winds down.

10. Northeast Chopping Broccoli - giving them this spot for actually looking like they try and have stayed competitive. A young team as well and should get better as long as they stick with it beyond this season. Brutal 3 game stretch coming up won't help but hopefully these guys have learned a thing or two about playing in the Pros.

11. Siberian Express - hasn't really beaten anyone that impressive, one thing is for sure in their big wins they like to chuck the ball around with their QB. They have a chance to make up some ground these next 4 games with a potential sweep but I'm doubting that right now.

12. Puvi Musketeers - so much for the bounceback season for the Musketeers this year.... just a handful of perplexing losses and it really doesn't get much better these next 4 either. Best chance is they play some spolier and show what they're capable of but thinking this team has lost it's motivation this year.

13 - 16.

Thanks for taking the time to do these. Rippers remaining games barring Hub and and Munich are all tough, contending teams.

Thanks for running these, have a tough game against Manitoba today, and yeah that loss to Raging was rough. We gave up 15 sacks that game, somehow, hopefully we turn things around with our offensive line.
