Continuing the ever popular video game theme, this week is vehicle simulation week.

Game Of The Week
Semarang Red Bulls (6-1) v Woody Island Wolverines (6-1)
Buckle up, this should be a bumpy ride for both teams. The winner of this one is almost certainly going to be a home playoff team, so this is a big deal in the Pacific Theater http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B-CTzCihas4 Semarang recovered from a shocking loss by destroying the Smurfs and WW has only a fairly close loss to the Monks on their record. Palembang Drunken Monks (7-0) v Dayton Blackhawks (0-7)
Every week there is one of those mirror image record games that you’re pretty sure will get ugly like someone getting jacked up on Roadblasters http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f0WoHef9puQ but really the Blackhawks have been looking better every week. This one could be closer than the experts expect. Monks 49, Blackhawks 17
Victoria Teabaggers (6-1) v Tibetan Drunk Monks (1-6)
TDM is rewarded by getting their first win with a matchup against a powerful VT squad. They had better pull out their best Spyhunter http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lweW_pfV6Pg imitation if they want to have any shot in this one. VT is rolling. VT 65, TDM 6
Krungthep Garudas (6-1) v Orlando Praying Mantis (3-4)
OPM has been slowly falling down the charts the last few weeks. Krungthep meanwhile has demonstrated almost Mechwarrior http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UZBmeJUDRAg type efficiency in dispatching their opponents. This one could be close early on, but no doubt the Garudas will pull away big. Krungthep 55, OPM 13
Hong Kong Hustlers (5-2) v Golden Hill Bones (3-4)
HKH is back on track and once again a sure playoff team. GHB meanwhile has played fairly well but they are going to have to pull at least one upset along the way to punch their ticket to the big dance. They have started fairly slow but they’ll have to kick it into high gear like Gran Turismo http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UrJe2XokCBk to pull this one out. HKH 35, GHB 31
The Outlaw Hustlers (4-3) v Portland Dirty Penguins (1-6)
TOH started out red hot and has now gone ice cold. This is further complicated by the fact that PDP is better than their record would indicate. This could very well be one of those times when someone gets knocked right out of the race ala Super Mario Kart http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HVi8AiwKn3k by someone from behind. PDP 35, TOH 28
Sainte Foy Cyclones (4-3) v Dayton Raiders (0-7)
SFC is back in business after a rough patch there for awhile. Dayton meanwhile has not been in business all season and probably won’t be this time either. Hang in there though. SFC will torpedo Dayton here like they’re driving the Red October http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pCAG1ilw_sM into the stadium. SFC 52, Dayton 3
Benton Harbor Havoc (3-4) v Royal Blue Drunken Smurfs of Funkalicious Labatt (2-5)
BHH has the nasty habit so far of playing to the level of their competition, with close games against such diverse teams as SFC and TDM. Phu Khao Bow Chicka Brown Cows (6-1) v Mandalay King Cobras (4-3)
MKC could make a huge statement by pulling the upset here and be looking good for the playoffs. Unfortunately the Cows have been killing people this season and they’ll be looking to hoof those Cobras. MKC better do their best imitation of taking down the Death Star like Xwing v Tiefighter http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N-UpyJbvKDc but it’s going to be tough. Cows 45, MKC 20

New York Empire (6-1) v Atlantic Great Whites (2-5)
AGW would love to see the soft part of their schedule anytime now. Apparently anytime is not right now as they roll into NYE. The Empire has their Wing Commander http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cjLDi8LD9Es running a tight ship other than the takedown at the hands of the Cows. NYE 42, AGW 10
Buffalo Rampage (6-1) v Tanzania Lumberjacks (4-3)
Tanzania is in kinda of the same place as GHB in their conference in that they need that signature win that gets them into the playoffs. Buffalo is a tough spot to do that in, but they have been known to fall asleep for regular season games before. They’re going to have to make sure their Starfleet Command http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tu1FkoBlfQU is more on the ball than in their previous matchups with top teams. Buffalo 45, TL 21
Krakow Kryptonite (6-1) v Island of Misfit Toys (1-6)
KK is going to be the team no one wants to see in the playoffs. IMT is just hoping to be in SEA next season. KK has reached a new Frontier http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nBn3Wogtc1c in their level of competitiveness. KK 65, IMT 3
Boston Bears (5-2) v Halifax Harpoons (4-3)
This could turn out to be the most entertaining game of the week in lolgaruda. Boston is playing by far their best dotball ever and so is Halifax, even hanging tough with KK. Wu Dang Kung Fu Academy (5-2) v Mandanum CPU (CPU)

Buffalo Knights (3-4) v Awendaw Toadfish (1-6)
The Knights missed their chance for a big win over NYE and will now have to claw their way back into the playoff picture. Awendaw would like to get another win to avoid relegation, but that won’t happen here. Chaotic Crew (2-5) v Praha Velvet Revolution (0-7)
