Alpha

1. Eden Serpents - Eden stands a very good shot of going 19-0 through Alpha. They will start the season with 100 Chem, much unlike the rest of Alpha. Sarg and his army have been very close the last couple seasons and he also has the added incentive of if he doesnt make it to WL this season, then his dots' last seasons will be spent again in EE Pro.

2. Sofia Spiders - Returning from a punishing season in WL, the Spiders went 2-14 and are back in familiar territory. They are eager to try and get back to the WL and prove that they can and do belong there. They return a better roster than the one that went 20-0 in season 18, but that was 2 seasons ago, they still have a lot to prove this season.

3. Arkadak Ratels - Will this be the season? Ark has been a staple in the top 4 rankings for the last few seasons, but just have not been able to break through, is this the season they can get to the WL, or will it be another 12-13 win season and 2nd or 3rd round exit?

4. Athens Odyssey - Athens is one of those Sneaky Good teams, but they have been playing little brother of EEPro for a while, Always good enough to compete, but not able to get over the edge, I feel they may be able to pull off some upsets and earn a home playoff game, but that's about it for them imo.

5. DECATUR STALEYS - Decatur finished their Freshman season at 8-8 and looks to have improved their roster quite a bit for the new season, look for this team to surprise some folks and contend for a home playoff game.

6. Emmaus Fighting Green Hornets - EE Pro Vets, but I wonder where their 'care meter' is going to be at w/ the focus on re-starting their franchise. Are they still a farm? Or was recruiting just rough. I wouldnt be surprised seeing these guys as high as 4, but I just dont think they have the dots this season.

7. Tyrrhenian Sea Wasps - They may have the talent to be as high as 4 or 5, but T_cat is holding this team back, before he arrived the Sea Wasps where a formidable opp, after wards, they have taken a step down.

8. Moose Jaw Grizzlies - Should take advantage of the high turnover and be able to pummel the new teams and earn the last playoff spot.

9. Lefkada Seahawks - Tight knit defense may be able to keep them in games, but they need a season or two to get their feet wet before they are ready for Pro

10. Cartoon Convicts - Good Chemistry may allow them to get off to a good start, They have the roster to avoid demotion, but not to compete for the playoffs.

11. Brazilian Predators - Good Chemistry may allow them to get off to a good start, They have the roster to avoid demotion, but not to compete for the playoffs.

12. Puffington Magic Dragons - Looks to have improved, but the high amount of red inactive tags on guys that wont boost to 72 has me worried, should improve on last season, but not by much.

13. The Pittsburgh IronMen - Sitting w/ quite a few under-leveled players, they really dont stand a chance.

14. Leaders Gaulois - Sitting w/ quite a few under-leveled players, they really dont stand a chance.

15. Porto People Eaters - They are just toooooo under-leveled, but can they find a way to sneak out a win and stay in Pro, it's certainly possible.

16. Sparta Battle Chickens - No Players, will be all CPU for this once proud franchise, done farming apparently

Overall Thoughts
After the Top 3 it takes a step down, and after the top 7 it takes a massive step down imo. This thing is Eden, Sofia, and Ark's to lose imo.

I agree more or less with your rankings but Home lolpromo and this season sim are crucial and may change things a little bit.

Nice rankings!
Even though I'm not on Alpha, I believe spider hit the preseason rankings is right on the money.
Eden right now has the edge due to chemistry but once all is equal I think Sofia/Arkadak has a slight edge on them.
Maybe game planning might push them a notch up. Great job there spider.

Although I agree with the comments about the T-Cats, I believe the Wasps will be somewhere 3-5...

I hope you're right. It's hard to see you guys getting over the Meese, however ... you're giving up 70 points of roster score to them. Unless they've all boosted already, I just don't see how you get over that with gameplanning. Moving past the crowd in the 1020s would be a much more reachable goal.

Sorry. I thought Spider was smarter then this.
When TCat joined us we went to the WL and have finished #3 or 4 in EEPro LEAGUE each season since.

With all due respect bud, your last 2 seasons include a 51 point loss in second round and 85 point loss in 3rd round, so perhaps finishing that high says more about EE Pro then your dominance......

and here I thought you where the humble one

I'll take #10 for this season! Unfortunately we don't have many close games early on to take advantage of the chemistry

I didn't say we were dominant and I did think we were talking about EEPro, yes.

But the losses you mention were to the League Champions and the Conference Champions. Works for me.
