Too many leagues. There's only 20 Regional Pros now., 24 if you count the 4 dead Pro leagues in your proposal. You're already concerned about the CPUs and you just added 16 leagues to the current system.

They moved to the current system to make it possible to expand or contract the number of leagues to deal with shifts in the population.

couldn't agree with that more! It's going to suck for most of the season for us.

There are "8" National Pro Leagues and 20 Regional Pro Teams now.

Sounds like too many Pro teams to me. This suggestion brings it to '4' NOT 28.

Here's the thing. Regional Pro isn't real Pro. It's what used to be AAA/AA/A. Semi-Pro is minors, because it's age-capped. 281d old players can't be in Semi-Pro.

So in between real Pro and the age-capped Semi-Pro, there are 20 current leagues. His proposal also includes basically demoting half of Pro to AAA, so call it 4 more leagues of teams in the current system that in his proposed system play in AAA/AA/A.

So that's 24 leagues of teams in the current system. His proposal has 40 teams in AAA/AA/A. Where do the other 16 leagues come from, especially given that the existing 24 aren't close to being full?
