A few of us from the Commission are starting the Commission Dot Building Academy. This is just to help new agents learn the ropes from people who wont give them retarded answers (ie: what does my rb need first? moar punting). We will have some guides, basic info, and be there to answer any questions. Anyone lookin for an invite post here or shoot me a PM

Are these builds for long term or Pee-Wee only? Reason I ask is what works best for long term isn't ideal for Pee-Wee, and the reverse also holds true.

Buy flex.
Create player.
Train.
Assign SP.
Train some more.
Assign more SP...

You mean there's more than that?

There is a right and wrong way to do all of those outside of buying flex.

It's ignorant comments like this that show the ego of the upper level owners/coaches. This isn't real life where a bunch of kids are playing with no skill. This is simulated dot ball, and it is just as hard to be competitive at the Pee-Wee level with slower dots as it is at the World League level with faster dots. There are build considerations at both levels, as well as tactic adjustments and play calling choices that only skilled owners/coaches will do well in at either level. In other words, it takes just as much coaching talent to get to and remain in the WL as it does for PW Gold.

Something to consider is that good builds can make or break a WL team, where they are less of a factor at the PW level. At the Gold level, while it doesn't happen too often, a non-boosted, non-CEQ team has beaten a fully boosted & CEQ team. Since most of Gold has fairly similar builds, this comes down to coaching ability. While I don't know for sure, I doubt the same can be said for the WL.

While the skills are different, it takes just as much skill to be successful at PW as it does for the WL. I have yet to see a bunch of WL owners/coaches take a PW team to Gold. Granted the same can be said for the opposite, but it takes a long time to take a team to the WL or at least to the upper levels, where if you buy a Silver team, you have a shot at Gold in your 2nd season, but I still don't see any WL or upper level owned teams there.

While I doubt this will happen, a test would be a good idea. Give a top level upper league owner/coach full control of a PW Gold team and a top PW owner/coach full control of a WL or highly competitive upper league team and see who does better or adapts quicker. While I doubt either will be successful their 1st season, it would be interesting to see which does better and who adapts quicker their 2nd season.

PW owners/coaches just say we are as good as the upper level owners/coaches, but the upper level owners/coaches think there is little to no skill at the Pee-Wee level and thus think they are superior to PW owners/coaches, which is where the ego comes in. Which do you think it is?

There really aren't that many long-term builds in PW ball anymore. This should be posted in the Rookie Leagues.

Impressive rant, but thats alot to extrapolate out of my statement. And I know plenty of people who start their dots off in lolpw, so this definitly applies here. If you dont like that, then jsut ignore it.
