for my Razorbacks. From looking like hell in the first half, they showed heart and the defense played like EEA on their best day. Dropped passes and I won't ever understand why we did not scoop and score that blocked punt. I think we snatched defeat from the jaws of victory.

Either way was one hell of a BCS game.

That was a great game to watch, I was pulling for them just to see ohio state lose to another SEC team And lose like that would've been great, oh well

Great game for sure. I have no dog in the fight (University of South Florida alum) and found it to be a great game. Have to say, OSU was hosed on a number of calls during that game which will fuel the SEC Conspiracy theories for sure. How in the world that was a safety on that running play was a total travesty. Glad the game either way didn't come down to that. Have to say, I really thought Arkansas was going to pull it out.

The Oregon/AU game should be similar to this one I'm guessing.

OSU has no right to complain about any bad calls at this point.

Well as most of you that have been here awhile, know I am a huge Razorback fan. I for one wanted them at full strength regardless. To me it was a measuring stick of how far the program has come the last 3 years.

I agree with that. ARK definitely looks a lot better. Shows what coaching can do. If only your ex basketball coach could do the trick over here...figured if he had the Big East stage to recruit, he'd put together a pretty solid squad as basketball in the Big East is light years better than the SEC where he put together some pretty good squads.

Don't be fooled, he got some "athletes" while here but not basketball players, and he will never never ever ever win for you on the road, you can forget it. Was like 4-35 on the road here in SEC play.

Looked like a safety to me... they should teach those kids to just go down when they get pushed back into the endzone. Instead the idiot tried to fight through the tackle, broke the tackle, and very briefly tried to advance. It was a fair call. At first I thought it was a bullshit call, but after seeing him break the tackle and briefly start to head out of the EZ it was clear forward progress was no longer in play. You want forward progress, especially in that situation, then you go down when being overpowered and pushed back into the endzone.

I can see how they made the call, but the guy was pushed back 7 yards and the defensive players pretty much let go as much as he "broke a tackle". They probably couldn't believe the play was still live pushing the guy back that far either.

That wasn't the worst butchering of a call this week anyway. That would go to Michigan for denying firing their coach right before firing, still owing him millions and probably not going to get Harbaugh. What a mess that place is...

The way I saw it was the HB threw the tackler (notice I say singular... only one player pushing into the EZ) down with his free arm (certainly didnt look like he let go) and made a move to advance the ball before being quickly smothered for the tackle/safety.
