Here is a player I was/am slow-building. Boosts every season, has custom equipment, and so on. Would love to have him on an actual team if possible, just for the sake of fun; I've otherwise had him just leveling on a pure slow-building team for a while now.
I tend to be a loyal sort of player. If I end up with a team/owner I am fond of, I prefer to keep my player(s) with them for as much of their career as possible. So long as a team continues to try and not throw in the towel, I'll stick by its side. =>
