Also think about how discouraging it is for a 1st/2nd season owner to get their ass cut in half by the crackertown juniors
I wouldn't want to play against some lolsilver team or like 10 a season...

If you don't like how gold is "work" then just go back to silver where you play 2 games a season

uhm, in this system NO 1st team owner would be facing off against the crackertown team...

my problem is that your OKAY with silver leagues having 2 games a season so you can have your lolgold league .500 team that you spent a whole hell of a lot of time on.

I'm 100% certain everyone that sticks it out in peewee past there first season would MUCH rather play in a league where there are 1-2 powerhouses, and 3-4 above average teams, and 5-6 average teams... than play a friggin cakewalk schedule just to get assromped in the playoffs by the 1 gold quality team in each league.

Also... you don't realize the implications of this on the boosting situation... right now people can pretty much buy silver league championships... or at least a silver trophy... no problem.

with the rivalry point system now included in the peewee promotion script... I really think things would be pretty intensely awesome without the gold league to suck all the competition out of the peewee leagues.

BTW- it took a lot of us to get Gold league formed. There was 3 teams in league 5 back in the day I had to game plan for and that was once a season and then the championship game. I may be , hell I have to go look, 5-8, but it's my own fault and I still enjoyed this season even though we had a losing season. I'd rather be 5-8 against a lot of really good teams than be 13-0 against a league full of new teams, testing teams, and slow building teams.

If you always have 1-2 powerhouses than you will not have a chance at winning until you leave...how would that make you feel?

yes but... we all know there are more than 32 teams in peewee... I'm not saying this will be an improvement for the current 32 gold teams, but it will be for peewee all together.

The rivalry point system is how bort re-did the silver leagues that everyone bitched about a few seasons back.

Which is somehow not better than there being 1-2 above average teams that you will not have a chance at beating? your not changing the dynamic of the leagues... there are always going to be "the best" teams in each league... and they WILL win the championship... but nobody wants to play in a league that they win by 100 every game but 1 just so they can get a little further in the playoffs just to hear from all of us about how LOL there league is...

its like comparing the copper leagues to the current silver leagues... obviously the silver leagues are better... right?!?

Just need to condense silver IMO, season 7 was the best when each league had a ton of good teams. 8 total leagues. Then Bort was drooling so much he made 25 leagues the following season, 3 of which never filled.

condensing silver won't fix that there just aren't enough good teams out there...

and not to mention the fact that the gold league kills 2-3 teams a season at least...

I can't say I disagree at least condensing the silver leagues would "somewhat" help... but it def would be better off removing the gold league... as much as I would miss it.
