The undefeated teams keep knocking off everyone, shaping up for some late season showdowns that will have huge implications.

West:

Las Vegas (5-0) vs. Laurier (1-4) (40-0)- Las Vegas keeps dominating with a balanced offense and an impenetrable defense. Laurier couldn't get anything going this game as they keep spiraling down. The skid should stop next week, as they face the Concord Gutter Hawks.

San Francisco (2-3) vs. Tijuana (1-4) (13-9)- Tijuana played a tough game, but was unable to stop the last surge by San Francisco on a huge 55 yard pass sealed the deal for the Gold Rush.

EZ (5-0) vs. SNK (3-2) (26-0)- EZ continues to roll, this time with an EZ win over SNK. SNK's dominant run game was shut down by EZ.

Oakland (1-4) vs. Concord (1-4) (35-0)- A bye week against the Gutter Hawks let Oakland get its first win.

Lauderdale (3-2) vs. Colorado (0-5) (28-16)- Colorado keeps putting up good fights but can't get a win. Look for a win in 2 weeks against Concord, and possibly a few more for the Mustangs.

Fresno (4-1) vs. Hawaii (0-5) (38-3)- The Snakes look solid with another dominating win. Don't be surprised if this team knocks off a few of the undefeated teams left on the schedule.

Minnesota (5-0) vs. Texas (3-2) (30-14)- Minnesota can pass, and they can run, and Texas couldn't slow them down enough to win this game. The battle at the top could go any direction at this point.

New Jersey (2-3) vs. Tallahassee (4-1) (6-17)- A closely fought game where turnovers for New Jersey was too much for a good Tallahassee team. Expect New Jersey to make a playoff run where Talahassee hopes to move up in the standings with a few big games against the top teams in the West coming up.

East:

Milwaukee (3-2) vs. Maine (3-2) (6-10)- This game was dominated by Milwaukee, but Maine's late INT return for a TD was the gamechanger. Milwaukee is just a few plays away from being undefeated, but luck has not swung their way. Perhaps it is the year of the Hawk?

Martha's Vineyard (1-4) vs. Detroit (1-4) (30-9)- The laughing stock of BBB #16 East last year is showing they aren't pushovers with a dominating win over Detroit. Fairly even in yards, Martha's Defense was able to hold Detroit to FGs and won easily. Expect a few more wins in the cards for them.

Naperville (3-2) vs. New York Mustangs (2-3) (20-10)- Naperville is back and threatening to take back the conference it dominated last year.

St. Louis (3-2) vs. Red River (0-5) (19-13) - Some late FGs by the Cheetahs kept this from being a big upset. St. Louis has the talent, can they get a few big wins?

Columbus (5-0) vs. New York Launch (3-2) (16-12)- How do the Woodys get it done every week? With a smothering defense that has only allowed 2 TDs all season. To continue the dream, they need to stop the turnovers, which totalled 5 this week, and 16 in the last 3 weeks. New York Launch now has only 2 losses against the two undefeated teams and will be ready for a much easier 2nd half of the schedule.

Indianapolis (4-1) vs. Cleveland (1-4) (22-13)- Indy keeps getting it done dominating Cleveland both on the ground and in the air. Their losses come against teams that are 14-6, so expect a few more wins from Cleveland.

Pittsburgh (3-2) vs. Sin City (2-3) (10-16)- The biggest upset of the week came with Sin City pulling off a nailbiter against Pittsburgh. Pittsburgh led 10-3, but Sin City closed with 13 unanswered points to come out with the W.

New Orleans (2-3) vs. Crimson (5-0) (3-30)- Crimson remains the top team in the East with another dominating performance. Can anyone even slow them down this season? Their defense has only allowed 4.4 points per game, leading the conference.

Next Week's Top Games:

EZ Company @ Tallahassee - Two top teams battle as they look to improve their chances of getting a few home games in the playoffs. The scouting report has the two teams even, with only Tallahassee given a slight edge at WR. What will Danny Boy think of that?

Fresno @ SNK - Fresno looks fantastic, but can SNK pull it off?

Pittsburgh @ Columbus - Can the Woodys keep their undefeated season alive? Pittsburgh puts up a strong fight and will be looking to recover from a tough loss to Sin City

New York Launch @ Maine - Two tough teams with tough losses will face off. These two teams are about as even as it gets. The loser might be in jeopardy of missing the playoffs.

I like it! Thanks Tom! Nice analogy of all the games. I am VERY impressed with your involvement in this. I wish I was as dedicated as you are. Unfortunately I just don't have the time to get more than 2 hours a day on here. I'm just too damn busy.

Well, if anything, this has been a brilliant season in the East so far, with many games decided by less than a TD. Much improved over the various blowouts that were seen last season.

The playoff race is starting to look very tight even this early. Apart from Crimson at this point of time, no other team has shown itself to be dominant. Good stuff!

Dam it was a tough day for the Beermen. We played very well, but that wasn't quite good enough. Once we get our offense on track we should be good to go.
