What do you remember about GLB when you first got into the game that is different now. This game has change so much since I join in season 3.

When I join, there were no Advance AI, Every team was casual

it was alot more fun back when not everyone knew all the secrets and figuring out things was a big part of the game.

Back then, most everyone also cared about regular season games and the lolregular season attitude hadn't set in. Games that you don't care about aren't as much fun.

People want to blame the league re-org but it is the attitudes of the current players that has changed the game for the worst, in my opinion.

I was such a noob. I remeber trying to make my player as balance as possible and then the owner made a trade and we got this new LB who was faster then our HB and WR's. I thought to myself, look at this joker...lol but since then all my dots are built with speed. It was alot of fun. The game was pretty plain because there were no VA's, we didn't have timeout options, spike the ball or kneel but every game was very competitive and meant alot

With that said, the elitism extends not only from the elite agents to game designers themselves. The creation of Elite/Competitive/Normal created a situation where the Elite leagues were very competitive. However all of those blowouts that those teams used to face got moved to the Normal leagues.

I did a study of the first season after that change. Before the change, every league within a cap had 4 - 5 competitive games per week. If there were 10 leagues, that was 40 - 50 competitive games and 110 - 120 blowouts. After the change, the Elite leagues had 13-14 competitive games per week, while the lower tier leagues only had 2 or 3. However, there were only 2 Elite leagues to 8 lower tier leagues, and thus the total number of competitive games for the entire cap were basically the same. The Elite teams got the best game experience while the lower tiers still got crap.

I liked when the DPC and advanced AI came out. Thats when i really got engulfed in the game. I started coordinating in season 3 with thecasual stuff, so i do remember that too. I dont think the changes to the DPC will be that bad thou

Ahh S1 through S6..... the times I wanted to pull my hair out reacting to the latest Bortification without notice (before the admin announcement system and semi-decent communication).
That and building one of the first custom Ds along with a couple of other Yetis defensive guys.
