2 Final Thought 6-1-0 PING is a fucking tank on offense...they have pretty much put up 1000 points in every game. Only loss comes against a Bears team with 3 levels on them. Faces off against the mercs this week, should be interesting matchup
3 Brigate Nere Italia 5-2-0 They have played a little worse than what their record shows...but it does say 5-2 and 3rd place
. Faces a streaky CEP next.
4 Black Sea Buckeye Revolution 4-2-1 Sorry for the multis mike...
. While this high, they should be moving down rather quickly with 14 inactives. They have sustained enough to stay in gold to reload in S20.
5 Crib Midgets 4-2-1 Has put two terrific outings together in a row now against PNP and the best team in the history of PW. They have exceeded expectations through 7 weeks, but have a tough matchup against the 85B.
6 DIRTY INC. 4-2-1 The former conference champs are not trying this season, and it is going to affect them...but they still have a playoff spot reserved
7 Lone Star Mercenaries 4-3-0 A very solid team that has relied on a middle of the pack D and above average O to stay in the hunt. Next up...FT...can PING contain PING?
8 Chicago 85' Bears 4-3-0 The bears find themselves in unusual territory with an 8 seed? No worries, the boost will get them over the hump and into the playoffs at a lower seed. Congrats once again on the baby!
9 Providence Nose Pickers 4-3-0 The most inconsistent team in PW gold? Yes. PNP has never strung together a streak of more than 2 wins in 23 games in gold. They will continue to piggyback on their top 5 defense with the smashmouth rushing attack. A win vs PNM would give them HHM and the multi inactive BSBR for hopes at their first real winning streak ever.
10 PAIN NATION MIDGETS 4-3-0 Have played some solid ball lately and will face off against PNP for early playoff implications. Should be a good game!
11 Atlantic City Surf 3-4-0 After the upset of the bears ACS is struggling. They got trounced by Loretto 35-0 while putting up a total of 31 yards of offense in 27 minutes of possession. They will have a big game vs UT this week.
12 Coastal Empire Pirates 3-4-0 They look better than they have before in gold...but will it be enough to keep them out of demotion and S2 again? They have 2 crushing defeats sandwiching a win vs the best team in PW gold. Against 85B and PNP they got 100 yards in each...something of much concern.
13 Loretto Panthers 2-5-0 Loretto is coming off of a dominating performance against ACS, in which they put up 35 points and allowed a total of 31 yards of offense. They will continue to streak to the end and play spoiler. The perennial playoff threat in the Panthers will once again impact the playoffs, this time by knocking off contenders and possibly squeaking in.
14 Lunch Box 2-5-0 They are the best
15 UT Pimps 1-6-0 Passing was not the answer for the pimps...they resorted to rushing and have pulled out a win and a couple of solid outings. They are going to be better, but cannot avoid demotion this season...
