The OPL Coaches Poll is back!! We start the season with 8 teams receiving 1st place votes. Algoma Hugo Reefers, following their demotion from the WL, received the most 1st place votes, but it is the Eastern European Alliance claiming top honor to start the season. Unfortunately, their reign will be short lived following their game 1 loss to those Pests from Buda. Other big upsets include Devonport over Sumatra and Cypriot over Addict Nation.

There was a lot of talk of the Meat Grinder that Zeta is during the Preseason and it showed in the rankings with Zeta claiming 6 of the top 10 spots. That said, Alpha owns 12 of the top 20 teams and showed they are every bit as strong as Zeta with a 9-7 showing against Zeta in the week 1 cross conference games.

I awarded a first place vote with 32 points, 2nd with 31, and so on down the line. In the event of a tie an average of the scores is awarded (ie. tie for 2nd between two teams results in a 30.5 for both).

Both teams have the same number of points, that is why there are two 11s (signifying they are tied for 11).

This was based off what everyone seen before playing any regular season games. It will change a lot by the time we do the next poll.

Thanks, I think the next vote session will be alot different. Those who are sitting on top will come down and down listed below them will come up other then the very bottom teams. I think they will stay the same
