Just thinking out loud here, but if the player did not join a team, he cannot train either, right? He was created day 35, and starts out with 8 training points. After 3 days, he cannot gain any training points, cuz he would not have been able to use any. He essentially gains nothing by creating the player on day 35. Better to just build the player on day 40 in my opinion, or maybe the trick is build a player on day 38, cuz you can sign players on day 41 to the D league teams... Hmmm?

He has 500 more xp if i'm correct

even though they wouldn't have game xp they still would get the nightly training XP...which at level 1 is 100 XP per night. if this is apparently allowed again, everybody will be going back to the day 31 builds of the past

A player has to have 0XP to sign with a peewee team.

Not if the player does not sign with a team...

you don't get nighlty XP if you don't have a team? if that's true then that would make sense for having 0 XP, i didn't know that though

Not sure, before teams couldn't sign players with over 0 xp, players tended to stay FA's until the regular season ended and then joined a D-League team.

I think that once the playoffs start, you have to be on a team to earn XP. Therefore, you could build a player before day 40, but it does not gain you anything...

In this case wouldnt the player end up with at least 8TP more than day 40 builds?

That equates to 12 BT's at least......
