im building a man corner im thinking about making his speed and agility high and catching because i got him going frequently for picks

well if you are going for picks, that is going to probably hurt his speed and agility since you are going to need to probably pump catching... but just because you are playing on aggressive, doesnt mean you have to build for interceptions. in fact, aggressive is the best coverage setting regardless of whether or not you are going for picks, imo. so really it depends on whether or not you want a real pure coverage guy, or an interception machine... but its going to be hard to make an INT machine that has high speed and agility... or at least as compared to a CB that is pure coverage.

i would venture to say something like this:

strength : 50
speed : 141.59 (+47)
agility : 95.61 (+11)
jumping : 72.59
stamina : 54.49
vision : 84.6
confidence : 48.49
blocking : 6
throwing : 8
catching : 21.49
carrying : 8
tackling : 48.49
kicking : 8
punting : 8

Top SA Tree: | 9(+1) | 5(+1) | 9(+1) | 2(+1) | 8(+7) |
Bottom SA Tree: | 4 | 8 | 0 | 0 | 0 |
Additional SA Tree: | 0 |

more strength and stamina wouldnt hurt... and you can probably achieve that since i ran the build through fairly fast, but i would think that most people would agree that the above build would get the job done. if nothing else, taking a point out of FS, and 2 points out of CD (10 SP) could help round out some attributes a little more. or, you dont like vision as much, you could take a cap out of vision (would take vision down to 80) and that gives you another 20 SP to work with.

I'd go with less tackling and more strength. Also, didn't see where you included it, but you want deflect ball % AEQ as well. But that is a pretty solid build.

yup, the above build would have enough BTs for 4 AEQ... and deflect ball % is kind of a duh.

would probably go something along the lines of:
+SDC
+36% deflect ball
+25% avoid fake or make tackle... depending on if avoid fake seems to do more than it does now, and if CBs starts to miss tackles with a bit more frequency.

question how are you figuring your training? Multi, intense, reg?

are you adding any bonuses to your skills that your training or is that just a waste?

little bit of all of the above actually. i know i do it probably differant than rage and other good builders do it... but i like my method as it adds a ton of flexibility at the end in case you get really unlucky with your AEQ shopping... or if you get really lucky, you can easily adjust for that too. but anyways, this is how i do it.

intense for attribute 1
normal for attributes 2 and 3
light for 3 and 4 (this should take you to about day 200)
multi for 5, 6 ,7 , and 8 through day 400
light on any attribute through day 440

i usually wind up with somewhere around 1100 BTs with this method.

You can multi-train on Day 16 if you want. Or day 50. Both are viable, play around a little with the virtual player builder.

When you say normal for attributes 2 & 3. are you saying just switch up between those two? And are you training each of these until you can 1st cap?
