EEPL has consistently been the best league in GLB for solid competition for many seasons.

I think EEPL has insulated us, until now, from the decaying league structure surrounding us. While we may be enjoying the music, caviar and champagne currently in first class, I can't help but notice that the SS GLB's bow is clearly underwater and sinking fast.

Would someone please tell me if they see ANY hopeful signs?

I'll continue to enjoy the caviar, music and champagne up until SS GLB sinks. I can't see anything good that's going to come out this season 19. Imagine no flex sales, last season we will have DPC, age based caps and what else???

nope, ship is sinking.

I do enjoy the game but I've made decision to not spend any more real money on it. I'll continue playing with flex I have and when those run out I doubt I'll still be in the game either.

I think a lot of the changes have been favorable to the game. I don't like the idea of not being able to build your own plays on both sides of the ball. After all, that's a lot of what football is about anyway.

Well, there's always going to be changes. Sure they could screw up passing to the point of collapse. Or the DPC change could do that. However, I tend to view the limited movement thing as a tentative plus. Exploit blitzing always felt like cheese to me, and I could never quite feel good about spending the time perfecting the "if I put this guy here, he's unblockable!" meta-game.

Sure, the other pro leagues might be cakewalks, but there's nothing that can't be fixed by consolidating them together into 3 non-EEPL leagues. We actually got a bit lighter on paper this offseason as well.

It's not so bad. Just like always, the guys at the top are very nearly clueless as to what the game actually needs changed, rather than just creating change for the sake of change. ObamaLineBlitz.com

Ignore everything but the sim and game plans, and it's a fun game with plenty of negligible flaws.

However, yes, the time is approaching where pro leagues will either be merged or be full of 255 point blowouts. Either way sucks, but when the active playerbase shrinks, that's what you have to do.

they need to LIMIT the number of capped league teams and leagues. So many fing teams built then play their way through the minors then gut back down to level 4. You see good fanchises like the Jeff St. Bucks earn their way through the PROS and then move back down, nothing against them by any means but when you lose a quality franchise like that and with no solid AAA teams to replace them it hurts.

P.S. get rid of the stupid pee wee league, fing pointless imo
