Next game, the team I GM (St Paul) plays the Sheffield Sabres. As I looked over their roster, a couple of things jumped out.

1. They are woefully short on depth. Looking at past box scores, they had other players but do not now have them on the depth chart -- including a punter.

2. 25 of their players have contracts expiring on day 12 -- the same day Tecmo dismantles them.

3. 6 of their players have been inactive since May.

Is this a team headed to be a mostly CPU team? What does that do to the balance in the conference -- especially if we lose to them, or Tecmo does

I want to be in the East, two teams are dead this season.

Well the West is certainly a much better division then the East this year, no arguing that.

I think the problem with the East right now is every team other than Tecmo and A-Ville is on par it seems. I thought Crescent City was better, but apparently not. Once we get to Week 8 or so I think a couple of the so average teams will creep up to being a top 5 East team.

well I am certainly willing to go to the East and let one of the teams come over to the west

Yeah, from last year and this the west seems more even except 1 or 2 teams. The east has a much wider gap between top and bottom.

Oh please... I could never leave you guys ;-)

I'd just like to not sweat every game is all!

Besides I am owned so I would have to get, you know, permission first.

I like the competition. We have to game plan every game and keep on our toes or we could easily lose to just about anyone. To me it makes the season a lot more fun.

Hoping we (the Fight) will rise to the top (not #1 top but top 5 or so) once we get done playing these close games against the undefeated teams. (of course part of the reason they are undefeated is cause the beat us but that is another side of the coin lol)

I am glad to be in the east though i think looking at the west. we are still building and learning.

I hope no one considers the Outbreak a team without a Pulse. I know the old team (Charleston Mountaineers) last year was a JOKE. We are doing our best to make the East Respectable

I did feel bad for the players on the Mountaineers last season. We were the last team to play them in the regular season when the owner was inactive. I'm glad the team is now actually competing. Even if a team is lower level and outclassed, it is better than having an all cpu team or a team full of inactives.

Felt bad for the players? Besides the Inactive owner, there were only 7 or 8 of us! The rest were CPU!
