true... I didnt add it to the sim build. Should be no problem to cap it. Other than that what do you think?

seems ok. I guess I would ask what your plan is for him in sim to see what the strength will do for you. If you are looking for a possesion receiver he would probably work well but I wouldn't expect alot of YAC. You could probably invest a bit more into speed if you knock off a few from vision. I am hearing alot that vision isn't quite so important and doesn't need to be softcapped.

all EQ in speed, carrying at 77 and strength at 83 are MORE than enough, but with that low of speed he'll be open very VERY infrequently.

Str at 70 and carrying at 70 is more than enough for a WR right now to break tackles.

Vision isn't terribly important, but it needs to be softcapped regardless. and definitely will need stamina in the mid 50's.

the speed and agility i think is nice for a power WR, but your catching and jumping scores will make it hard for you to catch the ball in the first place. CBs in the future will be at about 130 speed minimum, so 135 speed wont be able to create any separation, and since your jumping and catching is so low, they will probably win, every time. carrying is also maybe a bit low as that will help spin and your other brk tkl SAs fire. i would also maybe skip juke. juke would be nice addition since fakes get a bonus in the first few ticks after the catch (or so i remember... if this is not the case, feel free to correct me.), and you have the agility to pull them off, but I think those SPs would be much better spent in jumping.

the juke i already got on a early roll, lol, the jumping is all from training on light for the 4th adv eq, plus the 40 blocking is all from training (intense/normal/light), read awhile back a power wr needs 40 blocking to be effective, already have my agility and speed capped to where they was intended, about to take strength from 60 to 68, then after taking catching and carrying to 60 each, leaves the other attributes to soft capping, not much other choices left, unless keep strength at 60 and invest in catching, which i 'm not sure if i want to do

i tried , with getting catching n carrying up, but no points for sa's, ill retire after this season, wr's are not worth the flex, to much to train and skills that don't even gain are needed, sucks

if you want to try another power WR after this one, i would try for something like this... im not saying its perfect, but i would venture to say its at least a little better than the above build.

WR - Power - Power Archetype

Strength to 68
Catching to 68
Carrying to 68
Agility to 68
Speed to 73
SAs: QC, Spin, Extra
Stamina to 48
Confidence to 48
Jumping to 61

Favored Special Abilities: None
Penalized Special Abilities: None
Recommended Extra SA: Power Through

Build should come out to look like this:

strength : 83.13
speed : 130.02 (+52)
agility : 80.18 (+6)
jumping : 61
stamina : 52.02
vision : 50.19
confidence : 52.02
blocking : 30
throwing : 8
catching : 80.13
carrying : 77.13
tackling : 8
kicking : 8
punting : 8

Top SA Tree: | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 |
Bottom SA Tree: | 5(+1) | 9+1) | 2(+1) | 9(+7) | 0 |
Additional SA Tree: | 8 |

AEQ:
+Spin
+36% Break Tackle chance
+25% Catch Ball chance

Has anyone had much success with power through on a power WR. It seems to never fire, in fact he has one point in spin from AEQ and it fires more often. Of course i started him pre-archetypes, so he's only 194 lbs (also was before you could roll your weight/height)... wondering if his weight is a factor.

i would wonder if spin doesnt factor momentum into the roll as much as PT does. if so, it would probably be beneficial to try to get the ball to the WR in open space so that they can pick up some steam, or maybe on routes that dont make the WR stop for the ball as often. maybe some slant routes.
