My DE lvl 22 Blade Smith is getting owned he only has 3 tackles and a hurry in 4 games he is sucking and he usually only is versing like lvl 15's and 16's OTs so does anyone know why my DE is sucking??

You would have to open up your attributes for people to assist.

The most obvious is your strength. That needs to get in the 60+ range.
But, I would boost your agility first into the 40-50 range.
Everything else looks good on your player.

What are your SA?

Pass Rusher Abilities

Oh and do I need to get my blocking up??

Word. Tackling is WAY too high. Were you missing tackles when it was at 20 or even 30? My guess is probably not...so why pump all those points into it?

I would focus on agility and shed block.

No, stay off blocking, like the guy above said. get strength to 60+ and agility to the 2 for 1 mark.

ok so i need to get strength to 60+ and my agility to 40-50 then ill be good??

Once you do thoose things, rework your equipment to put most of it into strength and then just work on speed and agility

Agreed. Your confidence is higher than you agility

And DO NOT put anything into blocking. It really is something overblown. All Bort said was it MAY help but not significantly.

Keep your eyes focused on agility and strength for now. You SA will not help you until you do.

too much into tackling (u'd be fine with it in the 20's and wrap up on. need to up strength, speed and agility. (my lvl 19 has better attributes in those 3 areas than u and has been extremely effective)

Best DE builds have high speed and agility.
