Sorry, socrforce1 usely starts with the picks, but I'm bored and are going to do them.

My Picks.....

ALPHA:

WOODRIDGE LUMBERJACKS vs. Glastonbury Knights
-The Lumberjacks are still the best team in Alpha and Glastonbury isn't famous for upsetting teams.

BERLIN BLITZKREIG vs. Blackpool Mountain Lions
-Blackpool will go another week without a win because of Berlin's Strong balanced Offense.

Lake Charles Who Dats vs. WEMBLEY WARRIORS
-Wembley pulls out a close one in the 4th quarter.

FIGHTIN' TEXAS AGGIES vs. Valhalia Vikings
-A good Aggies team picks up another win and the Vikings lose their third game in a row.

LONDON MONARCHS vs. Stuggart Nighthawks
-Monarchs appear to outmatch the Nighthawks, but the Hawkeys can pull out a win with strong tactics.

ABERDEEN WRECKING CREW vs. Paris - Asnieres Molosses
-Paris AM has really been disappointing this year and will lose again against the Talented AWC.

E-CITY MERCENARIES vs. Coppenhagen Dragons
-The Dragons have had a less then stellar season so far, because of thier weak defense, I'm going to go with the ECM.

Lyon Sharks vs. NICE DAUPHINS
-The Dauphins have almost a level at every position over the Sharks. Dauphins win this very boring matchup.

ZETA:

ROHRHEIM STAMPEDE vs. South Texas Tigers
-The Tigers frightening roar gets them 3 points. Rohrheim will win this game.

MA Trolls vs. MULTIPLE SCORGASMS
-Upset pick of the week. A talented Scorgasms team will win this one with thier strong defense.

FRANKFURT HEAT vs. Dfools AllStars
-The Heat proved something to me last week by beating Paris. Picking them again against a weak Dfools team.

REYKJAVIK AGGIES vs. Korb Destroyers
-1 of the best matchups this week. The Aggies win with thier run game.

VALENCIA BILLY GOATS vs. Paris Musketeers
-The Season 1 champions win a tough one against the Parie Musketeers.

ROTTERDAM ROUGHNECKS vs. Sanford, GPO
-This game will be a landslide. The Roughnecks and Corey Smith will dominate this game.

OSLO BERSERKERS vs. Helinski Horned Frogs
-The worst team in the league will lose another game. Is it possible to be all-defeated?

Oxford Eagles vs. BARI BARRACUDAS
-This is another surprising upset. The Cudas' will suprise the league.

Thanks for reading. Submit your own picks and watch me be right and you be wrong.

Monarchs dont outmatch Nighthawks by any stretch of the imagination.

Their Defense has a higher average level than our Offense
And their Offense has a higher average level than our Defense.

We have good strength in depth, but its only slightly stronger than theirs.

Lots of people saying we have a high level squad really should look again, yeah we have deep talent, but we can only play 11 guys at once, and against most sides thats 11 guys at a lower level than the opposition.

Well Mike, as of this morning taking the whole roster you have a .24 advantage on average level Median level for both teams is 19 btw.

Ahh ZZ, but if you match the players opposing each other, we actually have a 1.08 avg disadvantage

More specifically, their average and median are higher for Starting Off Vs Starting Def.

We do have a advantage when our back ups play there back ups though

But as my back ups sub in a lot more often than theirs, you can argue that their minor level advantage is actually larger.

Or you can argue, that our larger squad allows a higher overall performance.

Its swings and round a bouts. And both you and I have the same philosophy.

But it is irksome that people still assume we are out levelling teams when realistically, we are outmatched on paper in most contests.

Korb, Paris, and MA trolls will all win.

Call me cocky, but I'm picking my team to win this week.

I'm also predicting another MA Trolls win. It looks like JJ Flicker is the kind of QB that would give Corey Smith a run for his money. It sure seems like it on the leaderboards.

Trust me, we aren't on opposite sides of that issue...

But there's no need to be so modest. JJ Flicker is a real deal quarterback with a very quick release.

Without sounding like a thirteen year old...that's what she said and on a more serious note, JJ Is a very good quarterback probably the best i've played against(i'll hold off by saying just that since I think Corey still tops them and it will be prooved later throughout the season) but he is the real deal and hopefully has more luck throughout the rest of the season.

ALPHA:

Woodridge Lumberjacks vs. Glastonbury Knights: The Lumberjacks play host to the Glastonbury Knights in “The Woods” and are looking to stay perfect after going undefeated in their first four games, staying the only unbeaten team in the Alpha Conference. The Knights lost their last three games and are outmatched in every category and they have to expect a long day. F2Js pick: Lumberjacks

Berlin Blitzkrieg vs. Blackpool Mountain Lions: Berlin is riding on a nice W3-wave including last weeks little upset when they came to London and beat the resident Monarchs. Blackpool has yet to win a game this season and I don’t see this changing this week. Look for Ewiv Enor and crew have a big day through the air and an eventual win for Berlin. F2Js pick: Berlin

Lake Charles Who Dats vs. Wembley Warriors: This will be an exciting game to watch! Both teams match up in almost every category except for the kicking game which could make the difference here in this thriller. I can easily see a game winning field goal in overtime with either side coming away with the victory. F2Js pick: coinflip Warriors

Fightin' Texas Aggies vs. Valhalla Vikings: The Aggies have only lost one of their first four games and that loss came to a very strong Woodridge Lumberjack team that may be the best team in the WEPL as of now. The Vikings started the season with two wins but were set back after back-to-back losses against E-City and Wembley. They now are looking to get back on track but will face a big task against the strong Texans. F2Js pick: Vikings in a nailbiter

London Monarchs vs. Stuttgart Nighthawks: The Monarchs started the season in convincing fashion with three wins but were caught off guard last week when they were upset by the Berlin Blitzkrieg. Stuttgart split their first four games and will have a hard time handling Chase Daniel and company. I COULD see an upset here but London is just a little too strong at least for the moment. F2Js pick: London but it may be closer than you’ll think.

Aberdeen Wrecking Crew vs. Paris - Asnieres Molosses: Paris comes to “Scottland Yard” where they try to pull out a win against the Aberdeen Wrecking crew which will be a tough task. Paris has four losses so far and unfortunately for them I can see a fifth coming this week. They MAY sniff on a win but in the end it will be the Wrecking Crew who will leave the field in glory. F2Js pick: Aberdeen in a close one

E-City Mercenaries vs. Coppenhagen Dragons: Two evenly matched opponents here in this game. The Mercenaries square off against the Coppenhagen Dragons. Both teams are tied with a 2-2 record so far and this will be a close game. The Dragons will have to play a very tough opponent but I think they can pull out a win at “Armchair Theatre”. F2Js pick: coinflip Dragons

Lyon Sharks vs. Nice Dauphins: With Lyon and Nice two 1-3 teams are looking to improve their record in this inner french matchup. Both teams struggled to find the endzone in their last games but are looking to get back on track this week. Lyon will try hard but will not be able to pull the upset. F2Js pick: Nice

ZETA:

Rohrheim Stampede vs. South Texas Tigers: Rohrheim is one of the two remaining unbeaten teams in the Zeta Conference and this week the South Texas Tigers come into Angels Stadium. The Tigers are a rebuilding team and will have to rely on a miracle if they don’t want to get romped over by the Stampede. This one will be over before it even started. Sorry Tigers, no way of winning here. F2Js pick: Stampede in a landslide

MA Trolls vs. Multiple Scorgasms: The MA Trolls are the second of the still unbeaten teams in the Zeta Conference including an upset win over the Rotterdam Roughnecks in week 4 where QB JJ Flicker and company beat the Roughnecks 29-14. The Scorgasms are not as bad as their record indicates but somehow they weren’t able to find the opponents endzone. They WILL have to score in this one if they want to pull out a win out of the Trolls Cave. F2Js pick: Trolls in a close one

Frankfurt Heat vs. DFools AllStars: The DFools AllStars are still winless in this season and now they travel into The Cauldron with the almost impossible task to stop the high powered Frankfurt offense. Look for Randy Livingston and Demtrius Byrd to have a big day through the air. F2Js pick: Heat and it won’t even be close.

Reykjavik Aggies vs. Korb Destroyers: After losing back-to-back games to the Stampede (they lost last years conference final to Rohrheim as well) the Aggies bouinced back strong outscoring their next three opponents 280-3 in three consecutive wins. Korb is 2-2 in the season and is looking to improve their record but it won’t be an easy task. F2Js pick: Aggies in a close one

Valencia Billy Goats vs. Paris Musketeers: Zetas featured game of the week between the Billy Goats and the Musketeers guarantees a highly competitive matchup. Both teams are 3-1 so far and either team could lock up a spot in the top tier of the Zeta Conference with another win. The Musketeers will have their hands full trying to calm down the Billy Goats top flight air attack. If they can somehow stop Beo Wulf and company they have a chance to win but it will be very hard. F2Js pick: Billy goats in a heartbeater

Rotterdam Roughnecks vs. Sandford, GPO: The Roughnecks suffered a tough loss last week against the WEPL newcomer the MA Trolls. They sure seek for revenge in a meeting with the Police Officers of Sandford, Gloucestershire who only won a single game this season. I can easily see another loss coming as I don’t think the Officers will be strong enough to stop the leagues leading QB Corey Smith and his top gun WR Blake Smith. This one won’t even be close. F2Js pick: Rotterdam in a landslide

Oslo Berserkers vs. Helsinki Horned Frogs: The Horned Frogs have yet to win a game this season and unluckily I won’t see this changing against the Oslo Berserkers. Too big are the holes in a rebuilding Helsinki team. This came could get ugly. F2Js pick: Oslo big time.

Oxford Eagles vs. Bari Barracudas: The Barracudas maybe a little bit behind everyones expectations but except the unexpected loss against the Police Officers the Barracudas faced some tough competition in their three losses with the MA Trolls and the Rohrheim Stampede. Oxford has some chemistry issues (don’t know if they are rebuilding because I didn’t follow the league until now) which could be a factor but Bari’s chemistry is even worse after last years GM scandal. Normally I would pick Bari but I smell a little upset in this one. F2Js pick: Oxford in a nailbiter
