How to play:
Every other day, simply locate the pick'em thread and submit an entry. Just copy the format and type in your picks; I'll add everything up. I'll try to keep up this season and do a better job of adding up the scores too!
What do I win?:
Pride, just pride! This contest is just for fun and to increase forum activity. Hopefully someday I'll be able to award some Flex Points or Reward Points, but until then it's just for pride!
Other details:
Scoring is simple. 1 point for correct regular season game guesses and 2 points for correct playoff game guesses.
Unfortunately picks may not be made in advance at this time. If I can put together the thread ahead of time I'll make them available to be submitted ahead of time.
I will only be counting your latest entry. If you wish to redo some picks, you must submit a new entry.
All entries must be submitted a minimum 1 hour in advance to the labeled sim times. No exceptions. Any late entries or edits after this time will be forfeit.
Tie Breaker:
Closest guess to the margin of victory receives 1 point. Last season I messed this part up, but this 1 point will only be awarded to the the team that is tied for 1st place each week. I'll take the difference of the score you predicted and the actual score.
(NOTE: Guessing 255-0 will be counted as that score. 255 is not the actual score; unless a team actually scores only 255 points. To see the actual score of their past games, go to the last play of the game. e.g. Humboldt Killer Hornets vs. Jax Beach Juggernauts final score: 522-0)
