Whoever can offer the best advice for my kicker that will allow him to be more effective at 50+ yard FGs will receive some sort of reward, proportionate to the quality of the advice.

He has 3 boosts left next season.

I will expect to see some supporting details for any serious advice.

reset regular piece of equipment to all str

reset soccer star to football genius

goal is to get those close to 90 each.

? what is aeq? my estimation is its 3 pieces 3 kicking + 6 to SA one in each SA so would leave natural SA's at 2-4-1?

if so would add Sps into those
increase CN 2 points sp cost 4 sps end result is 12
increase BB 1 point sp cost 3 sps end result is 12
increase A 3 points sp cost 8 sps end result is 11

Most of his 50+ misses have been from 57 or 57.5 yds. Tough to hit the rng success rate from there, no matter the build.

Incidentally, do you think that vision alone would make the difference? I sort of do. I will probably just make a change to vision before changing strength and see how that plays out....

I'd guess if his kicks are going wide right or wide left it's an accuracy issue. I highly doubt it's a distance issue, based on his level of kicking and str, unless you're attempting 60+

Whether or not there's a "fix" for it is debatable. I've almost come to the conclusion that at high levels in this game 50+ yard kicks have a standard failure rate, just like XPs.

He is not missing short, he misses wide right or left.

However, I would imagine that your attributes set you maximum effective range and your accuracy decreases when you stretch that range...which would imply that missing right or left could potentially be corrected by increasing your effective range.


Another possibility is that the vision check for making long kicks is simply harder and requires higher vision to consistently make.


Neither of these precludes the RNG theory, which is also quite possible.

But if it's all RNG, then I won't do any harm by switching things up at least

The only conceivable thing you could hurt by swapping around eq is your KO average. Mine dropped on Grundle when i moved eq from kicking to strength.

Taut, this is obviously speculative. But have you thought about an increase to "Automatic"?

This part is what makes me think it might work, "...Increases the distance considered to be a short kick..."

I think bucket kicker is better than my guy, maybe, but here's my guy's build:

81 strength
68 agility
80 vision
100 confidence
164 kicking
48 jumping
44 speed
15 big boot
11 clam nerves
1 automatic

I'd take all your EQ out of strength and vision and put it in kicking. Get another BB piece if you can.
