Just wanting to try something different (or at least from what I've seen and read about) and would like some input on whether it'll be effective or not (either way, probably still going to give it a go because of changes every season and the OC could make or break the player).

Anyways, I was considering taking speed and agility to the 12th cap and eventually run on the super elusive setting (all EQ will be split between in speed and agility with a little more probably in speed).

In addition, I wasn't going to fool around with spin at all (save on skill points because of how many I'll need to raise it high) and just focus on juking and head fakes. Also not going to worry about catching at all and just focus on the ground game (despite apparently I've been very good as a receiver on my team).

I guess my questions would be as follows:

1. Would taking speed to the 12th cap make him that much more of a burner?

2. How effective is super elusive?

3. Is juking and head fakes better than spin if I combine it with open field fake?

Here's my current build:

(be open for a couple of days or so)

Edits due to spelling errors and grammar. Kind of a nazi on myself about them

Have you used the player builder to see how many levels it would take to get both to the 12th cap? I believe you get diminishing returns after about the 7th cap. I also don't think agility needs to be as high as speed. Either way, you should probably play with the player builder and do some math on what's possible before committing to such a long-term plan.

You would be much better off going to the 8th cap, and then including those attributes in quad training until they got to the 12th cap.

agility to the 12th cap isn't necessary. speed to 12:1 may be useful, but you could probably stop a bit earlier than that (i think that's like 90 or something).

fake backs work, imo spin backs are better (or even better backs combine both). OFF isn't that special imo...

Thanks for the input guys. I might do that instead then, go to 8th in both and then train them up since like you said, I would get diminishing returns.

Any word on what super elusive does and whether or not it's helpful/effective for backs that like to juke and using head fakes?

if you split eq to anything other then speed, even going to a 12 cap, he will be to slow.
