Capitals celebrate with huge parade; Beertown look for answers
Washington D.C. - The Washington Capitals fans came out in droves Thursday night for an all night parade which included players from the Capitals on victory floats. Fans waited in line for hours to see the glimpse of the hottest team in the BBB league who just defeated the so called best team in the league Beertown, 20-16.
"We been waiting in line for 3 hours for the floats to come down our street," said Mrs.Parker who came with her 3 children,"and its been worth every minute. I just hope Rod Langway gives us his signature pose."
Signs and banners were evident throughout the crowd. One fan had a sign that said, " Sober up, Beertown."
Beertown decline has been a sharp one since their defeat in Season 2 in the second round of the playoffs. Last year after going an impressive 16-0 in the regular season, they have started the new season 2-2. Many in the organzation are feeling the heat. Calls into local Beertown radio stations range from anger to calling for the firing of coaches Kilihan, Stickman, and Excalibur. Many believe around the league that they do not have confidence in their club owner, Sir William PD anymore. One of the players, who will remain unnamed, was quoted in saying, " Sir William is a douchebag who doesnt comprend the new advanced tactics. Hes living in the past."
Teams from all over the league were congratulating the new darlings of the league. And many in other leagues are picking the Washington Capitals to represent the BBB league as the number one team. Preseason polls had the Capitals coming out of the East even with the stiff competition.
The Capitals next three opponent have a combined
record of 0-12. The Capitals will probably rest a little before facing a real opponent.
"Are next three opponents fucking suck. And thats a good thing since I am going on a cruise with my family," said Fdisk.
