I am building a kicker to do nothing but kickoffs. What do you guys think the best caps would be?

I'd go 81 kicking, 77 strength and 77 confidence. That's a total guess though.

meh, if all you're worried about is KOs, why not just go ALL in on Kicking and Strength, and I'm talking 85+ natural in each. I'm unsure how much of an effect confidence has on KO distance.

Probably right. 81 natural in each of kicking and strength probably is good and ALGs will take care of the rest. Maybe go to 20 BB. Max out booming kick, soccer star and workout warrior too.

As per Bort, there's really no point in going over 13 in any SA.

Sure, but if you're building a kickoff specialist, what else is there to put SP in?

so what would you guys bring vision and con up too.

also i was thinking some speed, agility and tackling to help on KO coverage. Seeing as 2 of them dont have algs bring them up last

Con first, to the second or third cap I'd guess. While I don't think it has much to do with the distance roll, I don't know that for sure.

More kicking? More strength?

Past 81 for each?

Doesn't matter, you'd never spend any SPs on BB anyway. I'd rather get 3 pieces of BB EQ for the +18. Hell, go for all 4 for 24 BB.

To the OP: How would you put a kickoff specialist on the DC anyway? Be on a team that never kicks field goals?

If you're going to just use AEQ for BB (which I agree with), then just get 2 pieces and use the rest of your tokens for SP.

would it be plausible to give this guy some speed, agility, tackling, and blocking? Make him in to more of a special teams helper?

I also am building a kicker for field goals only and place them both on the same team eventually.

you may have missed the point... there is only only 1 K depth chart.... you would randomly be flipping between 2 kickers, sometimes doing kickoffs, but at times kicking the extra point so the other guy would end up kicking off
